Foster care was never a treat for anyone. Always being told "Don't worry, the next family will be the one." or hearing people speak softly about how low the chances of being adopted as a teen are. Well the hope that Sam Pickney had, seemed to die throughout the fourteen years he had spent at the Hapson's foster home. His parents had promised to come get him in "just a few years" and that they "needed to build a stable life to support him." However, that promise seemed to be forgotten; but not by Sam. Everyday a new hope was placed in him that he would see his mother and father knocking at the door, ready to take him back. Finally, he had waited long enough. So, taking matters into his own hands, he makes a daring escape and adventures on the journey of his life; the journey to return to his birth parents.

Chris Williams had grown up in the Mafia world with his older brother Bryan but after seeing the harsh reality of what pain comes with being in the Mafia he is faced with a hard decision. Stay with his family or venture out on his own.
