When Antonia is touring a breeding ground for genetically modified animals, the submarine breaks. Worst of all, it's in the shark exhibit, but, there is a terrifying creature in the exhibit, usually dormant, that keeps the sharks in check. It's possible that this creature is responsible for the breaking the submarine. The submarine sinks to the bottom of the large tank. Antoinias boyfriend, JJ, must travel down into the depths to rescue them.

A short poem I wrote one day in my head at the Grocery store.

I'm a world where humans have explored the galaxies, spreading their culture throughout the planets and establishing new kingdoms, war has broke out between two neighboring regions. The Cerintia and The Londer Isles both suffered through the 37 years of fighting, but the Cerintians gave the upper hand. Humans have proven weak against mass forces, they need something strong, something powerful, something that would drive fear into the hearts of their enemies. They created abominations.

I can't remember it too well but I can remember 4 things my friends, my trailer, the beautiful forest with its mountains and rivers, and the unspeakable.

Humanity is the epitome of perfection, everyone in line and in sync. Those who aren't are punished, and those who exceed the standards rise above. And then there are the ones who don't fit into either of those categories- the Atavists. VL2141 wants nothing but to fit in, to become the high-achieving individual society expects him to be, but it seems as if his own disposition is against himself. Only switching causes for self preservation, she stalks through life just as empty as the rest of humanity. Three government pawns, all set on different goals, all bound to turn into something they never considered possible.

Not in terms of human definition anyway. Not by twenty-nine percent of avian DNA that gives her the wings to fly and the eyes of a hawk. Twenty-nine percent of her DNA that makes all the difference, that deconstructs her down to a single word. Hybrid. There is no pity for hybrids in this society, no hopes of being respected, no hopes of any life other than one of fear and looking away. They are separated in schooling from the "pure" humans, denied jobs in favor of purebloods, and portrayed as savages through the media and news. Avery's life is worthless to the human population, but she wants nothing more to give back and to help the world through science, like the people who first created the hybrids so long ago. But then society makes a mistake. A mistake so horrible and inhumane, it only proves how much the world really doesn't deserve people like Avery, as her life and freedom are stripped away. No pity for the hybrids. And nothing else for them either. (I'm a new writer, so if you have any advice, PLEASE TELL ME. Also, please share this story to other people, that would be greatly appreciated. AND, if anyone can find me a better cover, that would be EXTREMELY APPRECIATED. You don't have to, I mean, that should be my responsibility, but I'm new here, and I would appreciate some help. The artwork right now is my own.
