Hot shot at five years old has had 11 things done to his heart. However shortly after turning five his heart can't take it anymore and he needs a new heart. Hot shot needs a heart transplant. Four of his good friends who are his age and also have heart defects like him need heart transplants as well. They are all on the list. So Hot shot was going to begin a journey of trying to stay healthy with an unhealthy heart. He makes friends as he grows up at the heart center who also have serious defects.
