Nihilist 18 year old Valentina doesn't think life has meaning. She believes we're all just gonna die one day and we can't stop it in any way shape or form. But Natalie believes that life HAS a meaning, like finding love or happiness. She also calls her Tina and that's basically the main reason she hates Natalie. She also has two friends named Drew and Troy, and they all put up with her bull shit.

While on a train, the protagonist of the story expresses his hate towards humanity and towards his inability to answer questions about life.
