Life doesn't go the way Alexa expected it to. When her father dies she finds out that she is the one to gain control of the Silver Dragons, her father's mafia. Her brother doesn't like that to much and so tries to sell her to a rival mafia. Things don't go well when Alexa turns the tables on both her brother and her erstwhile buyer, Trey Michaels, leader of the Black Rose.
Trey is furious to find himself a slave to the feisty woman that was supposed to be his newest toy. When he gets the chance he's going to teach her just it means to cross paths with the Black Rose.
