Convinced into joining the cast in a new television show, Alex is thrust under the wing of Jacob Chandler. Hating his personality and player habits, the two get off to a rocky start. But as Alex slowly gets to know Jacob, she realizes he isn't all he seems. They become close, and suddenly she realizes she’s fallen head first in love, and has either made the worst mistake ever, or the best.
But that all changes when she starts receiving the messages. Left wondering who they were from, and how they knew so much about all she had tried to bury and leave behind, Alex’s and Jacob’s relationship splinters, under confusing and unknown circumstances she has no idea about.
Alex is left alone to the mercy of the public as she struggles to find out what, how and why everything is happening. But why does it all seem to connect back to Jacob, the one man she wishes never to see again?
