Most importantly, she's on her way in becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon, succeeding in her mother's footsteps and continuing her lauded legacy.

15-year-old Thylane Puertollano's life couldn't be more ideal-- scientifically inclined, intelligent, talented, well-loved by all, supported by her parents, and has a group of friends anyone would kill to have.

But this picture perfect lifestyle turned into her worst possible nightmare. Beyond the bubble of glamour and normalcy hides a vicious attempt to throw order out of balance when somebody from the other side of the family decides to make their presence known, bringing an offer-- more like a threat-- she can't afford to refuse or ignore.
