Cassiopeia Lenoir otherwise known as "Cassia" has never been exposed to the world of magic except for stories that she was told when she was little girl. When she receives her letter from Hogwarts, Cassia begins to learn new things about her and her family. Her mother's reluctance to tell her the full story causes Cassia to go on a journey of discovery to find out what her mother is hiding. However, her journey of self discovery doesn't mean she will be able to avoid the usual happenings of teenagers and their angst. Cassia will have to learn to juggle magic, friendships, and relationships, along with discovering her mother's secrets and her identity.
