The survivors of the first killing game, along with the participants of the second, all joined the Future Foundation, helping to restore the world back into its peaceful state. Yasuhiro Hagakure then makes a prophecy: "Some of the dead will return, not as themselves but as reincarnations. Two spirits will mix into one and they will be reborn." They both enrolled in the same high school as Kokichi and his friends and things happened. Now how will this go as Shuichi and Kokichi solve things out while Shuichi's on the road to getting the Despairs to justice?
