Mercury lives in fear of her abusive boyfriend that she's been with since high school. Crushed and broken Mercury cowers in her relationship in fear treated like a dog so much that she feels like she doesn't even know the meaning of love or what it feels like to have it. Spirit and heart stained and covered in bruises Mercury feels lost wondering in the dark of how a woman should be treated or better yet how she should be treated or what it feels like as she prays for a savior or change in time. Little did she know her savior was just a bar fight away.
