A woman in her late fifties sat on an armchair, her head resting on the headrest, eyes shut. Suddenly, a burst of excitement filled the room as an eight-year-old girl came running in, clutching a trophy in her tiny hands.
"Granny, Granny, look! I won a trophy!" she exclaimed with enthusiasm.
But there was no response from her grandmother, Nandani. Concerned, the girl gently approached her and shook her, only to find her head falling from the headrest and her hands icy cold.
Fear gripped the little girl, as she hurried downstairs to find her mom, who was engrossed in reading magazines on the sofa.
"Mumma, Mumma, something's happened to grandma," she panted.
Zeenia, the girl's mother, looked up, her face filled with worry. Selina grabbed her mother's hand and led her upstairs to Grandma's room.
Zeenia was shocked to see her mother sitting in the armchair, lifeless, her head fallen and unmoving. She rushed to her side, gently tapping her cheeks, desperately hoping for a response.
"Mom, please open your eyes," Zeenia cried.
Hearing Zeenia's anguished cries, her husband, Alexander, rushed into the room, witnessing the heartbreaking scene. He checked for any signs of life, but his mother-in-law had already passed away.
Overwhelmed with grief, Zeenia rested her head on her mother's lap, tears streaming down her face, while Alexander did his best to console her.

Suddenly Zeenia spotted a diary kept on the table. She took the diary in her hand, and, sat on the bed. It was a brown handmade leather diary and "Nandani's Diary" was written on the cover.
The diary contains secrets, mysteries that Nandani has never revealed to anyone.
