The secret life of a goth chick

A young 17 year old girl name Maria just suffered a great lost in her family. Now, she is living with her godmother and her abusive uncle in New York City. She has always been the shy girl. She had a lot of friends back home in Texas, but after her lost, She and her aunt moved to New York and when the abusing started, she went mute. What she doesn't know is that her step sister, Abigail, her two best friends, Jaden and Morgynn (who are also her cousins) and the rest of her family live in the city, her sister and friends go to the same school as her, and they are looking for someone to be in their Glee club.

When her friends back home suddenly show up at the school she transfers to, it gets harder and harder to keep the secret hidden. But when the school holds glee additions, she gets closer and closer to her family. What will happen when they find her secrets? Yea, secret'S'!
