When I found out that he was my mate, I was ecstatic and worried. Worried why?
Well because, I Sam Carter was not something that people would call "mate" material and with too much baggage that I don't let on.
So, when my mate told me that he didn't know if wanted me or not because I didn't "shift", I did the only thing I could think of. I left.
