Where is Ben Solo? #3- ReyxBen 10.12.20 #10- worldbetweenworlds 4.11.21 Rey headed to where she had trained in meditation with Leia. She sat crossed legged within the small clearing within the jungle trees of Ajan Kloss. Breathe she told herself attempting to shake off the dream, but the realness disturbed her. Just breathe. She sat eyes closed meditating breathing and slowly the inner calm she'd come there to seek flowed. She was a conduit of the Force and it flowed through her, centred and calm she ascended one with the Force. Around her rocks also began to ascend floating tranquilly about her like satellites orbiting their planet. It was a surprisingly peaceful moment. "Rey." Rey plummeted to the ground with an ungraceful thud as did everything around her. Cursing she stood and spun in all directions. "Ben!" Rey shouted into the clearing, but of course, there was no answer. She searched about her, but even before she began searching the surrounding trees she knew he wasn't there. Written as a sequel to the Rise of Skywalker (the film, not my fanfiction version) and before the release of novelisation or at least here in the UK. If they were to bring Ben Solo back this is how I think they could do it.

After the big fight against Palpatine and the Final Order, there isn't any time to take a break. People need help all over the galaxy and a New System must be reestablished. While Rey desperately tries to talk to Ben's Force Ghost, she doesn't have time to concentrate on it either. Her future as a Jedi Master lies ahead. Rey finds Jedis, lightsabers, friends and enemies; discovers truths, stories and secrets. All these distractions in one aim: forget her grief and ancestor. Poe creates plans to prove that he can be the next General. Finn wants to protect Rey from her Dark Side and repeatedly tries to make her understand his secret. In the Council, he defends the fate of the stormtroopers though many in the Resistance seek the destruction of the rebuilding Empire more. Is there any way to bring Ben Solo back? Something Rey nor Ben dare to think. Nevertheless it's obvious that it is what both of them want the most in the darkest place of their hearts. Takes place after the Battle of Exegol. Rey is burying the Skywalker sabers on Tatooine but she sees someone that she didn't expect she would see and she is very suprised but delighted as well.

So very wrong. She felt like she couldn't cry anymore because she had already cried so much in her life. But she was also wrong. Her being a Palpatine made it worse. She already lied that she was a Skywalker. She couldn't tell the truth. She felt terrible for hiding lots of things from her friends. Oh how she wanted to tell them, but she couldn't. Kylo feels his father's hand upon his face the watched as his father falls into the abyss. "Your journey nears its end." A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics.
