This story is about lost hopes in friendship and the struggles of the main character. The reader will watch character grow, develop as a person, meet different people and go places. The morning sun shines on the lake. You sit in the sand, your toes barely touching the cool water. You hear quiet footsteps behind you and turn to find TJ. "Good morning, Hayden." TJ says as he sits next to you. "Good morning." You reply. "Are you nervous?" TJ asks. You twist the ring on your finger and decide an answer. "I'm more excited than nervous. But yes, I'm nervous." "Don't be." He says and puts his arm around your shoulders. You lean into him and close your eyes. You're nearly asleep when TJ says, "time to get ready. C'mon beautiful."
