All Day All Night

When the rising sun hushes the dark of night away

And morning fogs no longer stay

When up above is bright and blue

And the air is hot, the sun burning so cruel

When twilight whispers for dusk to come

And nightfall is already tagging along

When the moon rises, stealing the sun’s place

And the stars enlighten us with their shining grace

When the sky is dark, coldness taking its chance

And everything is wrapped in a bubble of silence

When the darkness begins to disappear

And again, dawn is on its way bringing a new day near

I’ll be sitting in this exact same spot, wishing you were here…
