Kye Reed wasn't awake on any morning unless he has had his steaming hot cup of coffee from his favourite mug. The one that says 'worlds best grandpa'. He took it everywhere he went that included where he was currently; his junior sisters place. Kiara lived in an apartment when only him from her family could buy the whole block for her but she completely removed her self from their family business. She wanted to do something completely different.

Kye on the other hand loved his work it was his passion. He came to the state where Kiara schooled to be closer to her, he loved his family more than anything and it had been a while since he saw his junior sister so moving closer and spending more time with her seemed like the best idea. Kiara's longtime friend, Maddy was throwing a party so that was the best time to surprise Kiara and that she was. Kiara couldn't believe her eyes it was her kye whom she hadn't seen in almost a year, they spoke for a while before she went back in her room to meet the other two girls who were impatiently waiting for her.

Kye loved parties, you could even say it was a family thing. His whole family did but a party filled with drunk college students wasn't particularly his scene. His plan was to stay on the balcony till the party ended but then he met a girl who took his breath away.

Kye felt kiara tugging at him while she ranted. He got up from her bed he couldn't sleep anymore anyway so his eyes opened revealing a very angry Kiara.
"What's wrong K" He asked dragging himself out of bed to the kitchen, brewed coffee and filled up his mug.

"Morning Kye" Maddy greeted walking in with Scott both of them giggling. Kye remembers when Kiara told him she hates how 'dense' they both are because of Scott's promise to marry Maddy. But Kye thinks it's wonderful to have someone in your life, you could even call him a hopeless romantic, to him being alone sucks. Being alone wasn't something his mom tolerated, she hated it so much she made four of her children share a room.

Placing his fingers on his lips he remembered the kiss last night, it was intoxicating. Her hazel eyes kept flashing in his mind he was definitely going to look for her even if it took all year.

"I told you not to invite her yet you did" Kiara complained while she cleaned the kitchen counter. Kye chuckled, nobody complains as much as Kiara does it was another family trait but Kiara was a perfectionist at it.

"Who?" Kye asks Scott

"Desire our roommate"  Maddy answers placing a toast on the plate in front of him.
"Let's just say Kiki and D aren't really best of friends"

"Maybe she's hung over real bad. I mean I didn't help clean up but you aren't yelling at me" Scott says in between stuffing eggs in his mouth

"Yeah so we're we.." Kiara stops talking when a door opens behind kye. He guesses it was the roommate because immediatly her cheeks flush a  bright pink.

"Morning" Kye hears her say. She sounded so familiar he turned around so fast it seemed liked his neck could have snapped and he was left breathtaken. Again. His breath hitched now that he saw her under the light, she was so beautiful, her morning face was priceless, her messy bun with a purple hoodie that laid on her upper thigh. Kye was drinking her in like she was hot, steaming cup of coffee made just for him suddenly she just turns back and slams the door behind her.

Desire stood rooted to the ground once her eyes met the gorgeous green once of last night. Her gaze shifts from his eyes to his body and back so quickly her ears turn a deep red when kye realizes he was shirtless. She couldn't believe it at first then she thought maybe he wouldn't recognize her after all they were in the dark but that all changed when he looked at her all over clearly making her out, she went back into her room filled with regret.

"See a bitch" Kiara storms into her room with Maddy behind her. Kye turns back to his plate still a bit shaken.

"You guys have hooked up before haven't you?" Scott says to kye clearly finding this situation hilarious.

"Yeah I thought I'd never see her so soon" He answered honestly.

"Yeah I think she didn't either. Kiara would flip if she found out"

"Yeah that's why she isn't going to find out"
Desire.
He liked it, he could definitely get used to it.

"Your smiling like an idiot..." Scott's words get stuck in his mouth when Desire's door opens again but this time kye didn't turn back. She walks up to the coffee maker, pours herself a cup and sits on one of the kitchen stools.
"Morning Desire" Scott greets her

"Morning" she responds.

Don't you dare..
Don't do it..
Don't.. His mind tells him but no he pushed it aside.
"Morning Desire" Kye says so slowly it would have almost come out a whisper.
She looks over to him, her chest heaving slowly like she trying to control her self. The way her name rolls of his tongue was tempting, but she was going to stick to what she said last night.

"Morning" She whispers not meeting Kye's eyes.

Kiara returns in with maddy after some time. Maddy hops over to Desire giving her a side hug before moving back to Scott.
Kiara takes a seat beside Kye glancing at Desire once in a while.

Maddy then breaks the silence.
"So Kye how long are you staying?"

Desire lifts her eyes up to meet Kye's. His trousers tighten, he mentally facepalmed himself, why was she doing so much to him six feet away, he knew he was so in for a rollercoaster ride.
"I'm not sure" Kye says holding Desire's gaze, playing with the eggs on his plate.

"Yeah Kye and i both have a few things to do soon" Scott butts in stifling a laugh earning a glare from Kye.

"Desire this is Kye, Kiara's senior brother" Maddy beams at both of them as she introduces.

Their eyes lock again. Desire looked shell shocked but she just nodded and half smiled at Kye. Ofcourse, now she could see the resemblance between them both; They both had the same brown hair, wet green eye, and that structured face how could she have been so unlucky. She headed back to her room with her coffee in her hand muffling curses along the way.

"She's just so full of herself" Kiara complains. Again.

"You know she doesn't talk alot" Scott mutters

" Whatever"

Kye planned on staying here with kiara for a few days, so much for 'this never happened'. He didn't mind anyway getting to see her again made him squirm. This was going to be an exciting few months.
