The door was seconds away from giving in and opening. Grabbing your arm, Harry hurriedly rushed you away from the scene. You thrashed and tried to go back, desperate to help Eilliam, who was standing there with bottles of harming potions in his arms.
Looking at Harry, you desperately questioned, "why isn't he coming with us? It's not safe for him to go out there, we don't know how dangerous Steve is!"
Harry gently laid a hand and your shoulder and hummed slightly. "Joy, I need you to listen." He was uncharacteristically serious, which was a stark contrast from his usual playfulness and happy go lucky attitude.
He continued, "You need to leave. Grab a bag, and I'll grab you some potions, weapons, food, and clothing."
You almost shrieked in alarm, "I'm not leaving you both!"
He grabbed a large, sturdy bag and quickly shoved in anything within his reach. Potions, potion ingredients, an entire brewing stand, an iron sword and iron pickaxe, plenty of meat and carrot and a couple of spared golden apples, and a long witch's cloak and hat were thrown into the bag. Thinking better, Harry gave the cloak and hat to you. "Take this with you. When you go far away from the house, wear them. This will keep the hostile mobs away for a while - they'll know that you're a witch."
You were so pressured and so worried. You held on tightly to Harry's hand. "I'm so scared," you sobbed. Your hands were shaking and your breathing came out rough. "Why did Steve have to come? Why can't I help you fight?"
Harry's face softened and he pulled you into a last hug. "Steve doesn't know about you, Joy. You're safe from him. He's seen me before, and I'm willing to bet that I'm the reason he's here. I'd like to do this alone because I know this is all my fault," he grew somber at this. "But dad isn't going to let me do it alone. You know what else he's not going to let happen? You get hurt."
You teared up and whispered, "You both were so nice to me - I can't thank you both enough. I'm so sorry I had to start that fight, I didn't know that... didn't know that," you choked on your words and coughed to loosen the knot in your throat. The young witch, who you'd come to love and acknowledge as your own brother, gave you a soft peck on your forehead and let go of the hug.
"When this problem is over, we'll find you, Joy. We promise that we'll find you. Just stay safe, alright? You're the one who we're living for right now."
At that moment, there was a crash as the front door finally gave away and you heard the sounds of swords slashing and potion bottles being smashed onto the ground. Rushing, Harry shoved you through the side door and handed you the bag, muttering words of comfort the whole way.
Harry felt terrible watching you go off in tears, but he knew it was for the best. Who knew what Steve would do if he got his hands on you. He knew that even humans knew about the prophecy and that if they found you, they'd torture you into figuring out your backstory. After that, they'd twist you and manipulate you into following their own will. Humans were like that, they used and destroyed everything they came in contact with.
They found wolves, ocelots, parrots, and other animals and they controlled them through materialistic objects.
They shot and killed animals not only for food but sometimes just for fun as well.
They met the other mobs and instead of talking civilly, they'd pull out their weapons and attack first, forcing the mobs to fight back in self-defense (and, after a while, forcing the mobs to fight back on their own in fear of getting killed if they didn't.)
They found ways to manipulate and go into the two others realms and kill the mobs in those realms as well - as if wreaking havoc in the overworld wasn't enough.
Harry only hoped that the prophecy would come true - and that you'd be the one to make it happen and not stop or die trying like the rest.
