You heard glass break from behind you as you ran. A slight feeling washed over you, but it left as soon as it hit. The grass crunched under your feet as you propelled yourself forward. Still holding the bag, you kept running, checking over your shoulder to make sure that Steve hadn't seen you. Once you were a good enough distance away from the house, to the point where you could no longer see it from where you were standing, you stopped and took deep breaths.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

(Ok you get it—)

You were beginning to feel hungry, but you decided against eating any of the food left. Yes, Harry had stuffed in enough food for about a week, but you didn't want to use it when it's not necessary - at least not until you find a place to settle and find a place to get a steady food source.

After steadying your breath, you stood back up and continued to walk along the thick forestry area you'd run into. Honestly, you weren't looking when you ran away from the house - you just needed to get out of sight and fast. The forest biome was a perfect place for that. It's impossible to find someone while you're in the forest with them, much less from when you're outside the forest looking in. As you walked through the forest, you looked around for anything familiar. You didn't remember seeing this place from when you and Harry went camping.

'It must be a different part of Minecraftia,' you thought absentmindedly to yourself, before walking forward again. This time, you reached a large clearing.

It was surrounded on one side by the luscious forest and the other side had a large river. Straight ahead, you could see the shadow of a village. Behind you was a mountain range, filled with caves filled with iron ore and other natural resources.

This place was perfect. You thanked your lucky stars for being able to find this place. Setting your bag down, you opened it and took out the iron pickaxe. It was fairly new and showed little signs of damage. Unfortunately, it wasn't enchanted so you had to be thoughtful about what you wanted to mine.

Deciding that building a small house was the first line of business, you traveled into the woods to cut some bark. Deciding on acacia, you proceeded to use your pickaxe to cut it down fast. A large portion of the day was gone, and you needed to hurry to finish the house before nighttime.

Technically speaking, you should be safe. You had a strong weapon (an iron sword), you had armor with you in your bag (packed lovingly by Harry), you were taught how to effectively fight from a young age (you still shuddered at the memories of the sparring lessons with Eilliam, those weren't fun), you had plenty of helpful potions with you (just to make life a little easier), and you had the witch cloak and hat (so you could pretend to be a witch and happily wave off the other mobs!)

But still, it was better to be safe and sorry. So you used your iron pickaxe to collect all the wood you needed for a small, simple house, and you placed them around in the shape of a house. You were careful to be on the lookout for other mobs while doing this. If they saw you doing this, they would know that you were human. That would ruin your cover.

Mobs can't build. As Eilliam explained, when this world was created, the two sides were made: the villagers/humans/players (the creators), and the other mobs (the maintainers). The creators had the job of building. They would have the responsibility of essentially creating the structures - making the houses, making beds, making weaponry and armor, and all those human-made things. The maintainers, which were all of the mobs, both hostile and non-hostile, were in charge of maintaining what the creators created. The hostile mobs would protect the land by attacking and getting rid of unwanted intruders, and the animal mobs would provide materials for the creators to build with.

It was a great idea, up until there was a disagreement between the two sides and they broke off. Now, the mobs are at a disadvantage because they can't build on the own, and the creators are at a disadvantage because they are easily attacked and killed by mobs if they don't have protection.

Most mobs stole the resources from villagers, or waited for an unsuspecting passerby before taking their stuff - it's just what they had to do. The house that Eilliam and Harry owned was originally a player's home. But the player left and never came back, and the witches decided to take it over.

Knowing this, you sped up your building. The sun was starting to set and you knew that the mobs would be out soon. If you want your cover of being a witch to work, then the other mobs can't see you build - or they'd know straight away that you're lying.

Placing the last block on the roof, you lit some torches and place them around your small house. Instead of a door, you just covered up your house entirely with wood - doors were overrated anyway.

Placing the bed down (yep, Harry'd given you a bed too), you fell asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.

Not noticing that a certain mob watched you from the trees with curious eyes during the entire process.
