I just wanted to introduce a concept fast before we go any further into the story.
This idea was inspired by HanaBanana on Quotev. I got the idea by reading her book 'Recruited.' (It's an amazing Creepypasta fanfiction if anyone's interested in checking it out! I'll place the link down below for anyone who is.)
So, it's a little hard to tell what's going on inside the head of the mobs - do they like you? Dislike you? How do they feel about you?
So just as a fun little thing, I'm adding a small character % chart at the bottom of each chapter. The % will correspond to your relationship with them!
Here's the chart!
Anything negative %: They strongly dislike you and are quite possibly planning your demise - what on Earth did you do to them?
0-20%: They won't try to kill you, but they'll try their best to avoid you. They don't like nor trust you just yet, and they prefer to be left alone.
20-40%: They won't actively avoid you, but don't expect them to approach you either. At this point, they are civil with you. You've reached 'acquaintance' level. They trust you enough to not feel threatened by you.
40-60%: They like you. They'll talk to you a lot more often and feel more at ease when you come and talk to them. They consider you as something like a friend. They won't trust you with their life or anything just yet, but they'll be willing to help out in little ways if you need them.
60-80%: They adore you. They will purposefully come to visit you and will miss you when you go somewhere else. They'll see you as a close friend of theirs and are willing to help you out whenever you need them. Be aware that they'll expect the same back. They trust you now, so they'll want to see you putting in as much as they're putting in. They'd like the relationship to be two-sided.
80-95%: They have really strong feelings for you. It's a little weird for them, but they're feeling things that they've never felt before. They're willing to have a future with you and make plans for just the two of you. They can't tell yet, but they've just scratched the surface of love. Around you, they feel loved, cared for, and respected. They would be willing to fight for you to save you and they see you as a potential lover.
95-100%: Obsession. Believe it or not, this is dangerous. Avoid this.
These here will be incorporated for the potential love interests (not for siblings or family or anything, for obvious reasons —) I saw this in Hana's book and thought that it would be cool to add!
With each action you take and everything you do, these percentages will go up or down for the mobs. Remember that every mob boy's personality will be different - some will adore you right away, while others will be much more cold and hostile towards you, even throughout a long time. It takes patience and time to get someone to open up to you.
It will also give you a chance to see who the interests are!
