Merry Christmas to everyone celebrating! Here is a little Xmas gift from me to you. 🎄

Prompt; Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are shooting the border kiss for CLOY but Hyun Bin keeps messing up on purpose so he could kiss her again and again.

“Are you sure this is a good take?” Hyun Bin had casually leaned against the wall still clad in his army uniform, arms crossed over his chest as he looked at director Lee. The man on the opposite end had glanced at him in disbelief.

“Yes, it's perfect!” he announced enthusiastically, much to Hyun Binʼs chagrin. “Writer Park and I wanted to capture the border kiss just like this,” he shaped his fingers like a rectangular camera lense, moving it to his face and then, at the petite woman standing in the corner of the set as she talked to her makeup artist.

This just won't do, Hyun Bin huffed.

“But look—” he desperately tried to think of something but his eyes focused on the birthday girl again.

“Uhm, I could've cried in the scene too, don't you think that would be better?”

Director Lee seemed to go over his words in his mind. As expected, he turned to the reel. Now, the screen showed Ye-jin and him kissing each other like fated lovers who were now parting ways on the DMZ. Today also happened to be Ye-jinʼs birthday. He'd be damned had he only managed to kiss his girlfriend once in her big day. As the director went over the scene after his opinion, Hyun Bin found her eyes once again, but this time, she was peering right at him with her soft gaze.

He really needed this opportunity.

Helplessly, Hyun Bin cast a nervous glance at the main in charge. His scrunched up nose was a clear indication that he had, indeed, managed to get his point across.

Just like he had predicted, they shot the border scene again. When he had grabbed her by the elbow and spun her around, they weren't Jeong Hyeok and Se-ri anymore. They were Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, a couple who had been hiding their relationship from the world for almost two years now. Two individuals who seeked comfort in each other in the midst of all the chaos. Merely two persons who want to be one at the end of the day, tangled away in their bed sheets and away from the troubles of the world.

He had pulled her close by the lapels of her coat and kissed her square on the mouth. Ye-jin was unaware of his antics, still, she went along with it because why in the world, would she turn down an opportunity to kiss her boyfriend in public like that and not take advantage of “they were shooting for a drama”

When the director shouted cut, they had still been kissing. It was Ye-jin who pushed his chest slightly as if to remind him where they were. Catching on, Hyun Binʼs gaze had been anywhere but on her. The professional actor had turned into a child when his woman was in question. Director Lee was the one to break their happy bubble.

“Ya, Hyun Bin,” he started, “Why didn't you cry like you suggested you would?”

Oops.

“My bad.” But he wasn't remorseful at all. “Let's do it again.” surprisingly, no one had caught up on his sly shenanigan.

This time around, on the third take, he had uttered his lines perfectly just when he had turned a crying Se-ri towards his body. His mouth had found hers, his lips smoothing over hers in a perfect sync. A single tear had rolled down his cheek, just like Director Lee had instructed. Everything was going well until he realized that he hadn't had enough of this woman before him. As the camera was focused on the upper half of their bodies, it gave him the perfect opportunity to make use of Ye-jinʼs stocky coat. His fingers danced their way under her shirt at a pace he did not know he possessed, brushing the tip against the velvety material of her bra, the same bra he had taken off mere hours ago in the privacy of their bedroom.

Who could blame him for needing to kiss his woman again and again?

At this take, Ye-jin had been the one to ruin the scene. Her boyfriendʼs actions had taken her by surprise for he was never like this. In Ye-jinʼs mind, Hyun Bin was always stoic to the public eye. The man smiled politely when needed but other than that, he did not let his professionalism slip. There was just something about him today that made her giggle and want to smack him at the same time— giggle because she had finally caught up with his little mischievous plan and smack because he wasn't realizing that the sooner they left set, the sooner they could go home together.

“You guys just won't let me shoot my drama, will you?” Director Lee was about to cry. He had his head in his hands, eyes down with writer Park staring apologetically at the man in question.

Hyun Bin and Ye-jin exchanged knowing glances. Again, his hand came down to brush his fingers against hers in a very subtle manner. Ye-jinʼs cheeks turned a bright red, thank god she could use the cold as an excuse.

“We're so—” Ye-jin corrected herself after a pause, “I'm sorry, Director Lee. I promise to finish it in the next take.” Silently, she stole a glance at Hyun Bin who was controlling an urge to grin.

“You cry this time,” He pointed angrily at Hyun Bin, and then, at Ye-jin, “You don't pull away like that this time.”

Both vertern actors nodded quickly. The cameras started rolling once again and so did the scene. As Director Lee shouted to start once more, Hyun Bin took the opportunity to whirl around his birthday girl. Her hands came to rest on his chest, eyes sparkling with love.

“A single step,” His fingers tucked under the lapels of her coat, just around her waist to draw her closer, hidden from the public eye.

“Should be okay.” and just like that, he kissed her soft lips, the cold of their skin urging him to pull her nearer to his body. Her thick overcoat really was a savior today, for where else would he hide his arms encircling her waist.

Just before he slipped his tongue inside her mouth, he whispered, “Happy birthday, baby.”

It really was the best birthday she could ask for.

They had spent two of her birtdhays together; first in LA and the next, here, tangled in each othersʼ arms.

“Do you guys wish to kill me today?” papers were thrown in the air, shouts were heard, and giggles filled the January air.

“You know what?” Hyun Bin smiled like a Cheshire Cat.

Hopeful eyes looked at him.

“Let's just use the original take.”
