It's been two days since an unknown woman arrived in Lucknow. She loved to sit outside and watch the dancers perform but today she sits by the swimming pool side and holds her cocktail to the sun while toasting with the other tourists.
A waiter walks up to her and tells her someone wants to see her then directs her to a private booth where she beamsls at a man.
"It's about time you came." the woman says and the man sends the waiter away with a wave of his hand.
"I was bound to come soon, wasn't I? I'm not one to keep people waiting at least not for very long." He gives a loud laugh for some seconds and settles for a hostile smirk.
"I'm surprised that you could manage a five star hotel RK, I had no idea you could..."
She starts but RK interrupts offended by her words "Why don't you focus on our goal, we don't have much time to execute our plans." RK reminds her and she lays back into her seat.
"I know what to do and I won't hesitate to strike. I don't go around reading books."
She pointed at the book in his hand "James Baldwin's Another country.
"I invited you into my plans to make it fun. I can act with or without you so don't try to underestimate me."
She scoffs "I don't have the time to be angry at you RK cause all my anger is directed at Vedant and his family. If they knew what was coming they'll light a watch fire in anticipation."
"That's why we are going to take them unawares."
She was glad he wasn't one to shy away from what they had planned.
"Cheers to that."
I think this chapter beats unknown in terms of words count.
