A woman alights from a cab, glances at her phone and then looks at the hotel's sign post; Empire hotels and resorts.
Cold breeze sweeps by her, a sign of an incoming heavy downpour. The cab driver removes her luggages from his vehicle and places them beside her .
The woman who bears a wide smile slips her phone into her trousers and rolls her bags into the hotel reception. She looks around the place and nods.
"Just as he promised."
She says to herself and walks to the receptionist who greets her. Her phone rings, she retrieves the device then picks the call and after discussing to the unknown person for a while, she hands the phone over to the receptionist.
Soon, the receptionist returns her phone and gives her the keys to a suite.
A porter walks over to help her with her luggage and leaves after taking a tip. The woman takes off her shoes and goes to the balcony which she admires for a while before looking out to the view of the city.
"I'm here Vedant Rajput, just for you and no one will get in my way."
This is probably the shortest chapter in the book, who do you think the lady is?
