When I started gaining conciousness, my head was killing me. I could feel that I'm on a chair and someone is tying my hands behind me. I try to move but they were tied enough already that I couldn't move. "I'm almost done" I hear from behind me. I open my eyes and I try to look who it is. It wasn't Smith. I haven't seen him before. Male, around 6 feet tall, green eyes, short hair, good looking which probably explains why the latest victim didn't fought back. He can easily seduce anyone.
"Kidnapping a federal agent? That will definetely get you some serious extra time in prison" I say.
"Not if they never find you" he says as he walks in front of me.
"So who's killer victim am I gonna be?" I ask
"Mine" he says "Don't worry, I can get very creative" he says
"No, you can't and that's why you are still experimenting. Sutcliffe, Ridgwat, Dahmer and now Barraza. You passed the line and tried to copy a woman. Wow. I didn't believe that you were that desperate" I say laughing and he punches me in the face but I don't give him the satisfaction of showing that I'm in pain or scared.
"What's your name?" I ask
"Why do you care?" he asks
"I don't but I'm bored. I was hoping for some smalltalk" I say and he chuckles
"In case you haven't noticed, you're kidnapped" he says
"Oh I know but my team will be here in less than a few hours" I say
"You really believe that? Because according to Rony, they haven't even noticed that you're missing" he says and then my phone rings. It was on a table across the room with my gun and badge.
"I guess you're wrong" I say and I smile. He goes to get it and comes back to me.
"You're gonna say that everything is ok and that you just went back to the hotel because you weren't feeling well" he says
"Or? You're gonna kill me?" I ask ironically
"Yes and little old lady who is in the next room" he says
"Anne Gallen? Is she still alive?" I ask
"It depends on you" he says and presses 'answer'.
Meanwhile in the police station...
About an hour after your conversation outside, Aaron calls Penelope. "Yes sir?" she asks immediately
"Did you find what Jessie asked you?" he asks
"No... Jessie didn't ask me to find anything" she says
"Didn't she call you about an hour ago?" he asks
"No, she didn't" she says. He hungs up and calls me. The phone rang many times before the call was answered.
"Jessie?" Aaron says but there is no answer "Jessie?" he asks again
"I'm here, I'm listening" I say
"We just talked to Garcia and she said you haven't called her. Morgan went outside to find you but you weren't there" he says
"Yeah, yeah. I... I was a really dizzy and I went back to the hotel. I hope that's ok" I say
"You didn't tell me anything earlier" he says
"I know. I'm sorry" I say
"You could at least call me and tell me to call Garcia. You slowed down the investigation and you left without telling me anything so I will need to have a word with you when we are back in Quantico" he says
"Ok sir" I say
"Why so harsh Hotch?" I hear Morgan ask
"It's ok Derek. Thanks" I say
"You know better than letting him scare you Jess" he says causing me to chuckle but at the same time tears formed in my eyes.
"I know" I say and I try to blink away the tears "The thing I didn't know was that I'm on speaker" I say trying to buy time on the phone
"Yes, I wanted to also tell you that Smith is probably not envolved. His alibi checks out, he was out with a friend. His credit card record confirms that" he says and I look at the guy. He winks and smiles.
"Oh ok. I guess that I was wrong about him" I say looking at the guy who is smiling satisfied. Smith is definetely involved. He signs to me to hurry up. "Anyway, I gotta go. We'll talk later. Love you sweetheart" I say and he hungs up.
Aaron looks at the phone and then at the others. "He has her" he says
"What?" JJ asks "She never says 'I love you' when she knows that she's on speaker and you are here and she definitely doesn't use the word sweetheart but someone else uses it a lot" he says
"Smith, yesterday he called sweetheart twice" Spencer says
"Three times actually" Aaron says
"So his alibi was lying. He is probably the partner" Derek says as Aaron calls Penelope.
"Garcia, I need you to check everything about Rony Smith and also Daniel McKlay as fast as possible. Every property of them or any relatives that they can use" Aaron says
"Give me a second..." she says as she starts typing "Daniel McKlay doesn't have an address yet because he was released from prison a couple of months ago. He was in there for sexual assault and rape of a woman that looks a lot like you Jessie" she says and Aaron drops his head down and takes a breath. "Wait, there should be an ironic comment like 'I always attract the crazy ones' from Jessie right now" she says
"He has her Garcia so hurry and give us a location" Aaron says
"Hey, hey" Derek says to him "You heard her, she's ok. We are gonna find her" he says
"Her phone is off right now so I'm checking for abandoned buildings, warehouses, everything... And there is an abandoned sanatorium just outside of town. I'm sending you the location right now" she says.
"Blake and JJ, take care of Smith. The rest are going to find McKlay" Aaron says and they leave.
Back to Jessie...
"You know, you really look like a girl I used to know" he says
"A girlfriend?" I ask
"Not exactly" he says as he walks behind me "But I made her feel things that I bet no one ever did" he says as he starts to massage my shoulders "She said that she didn't want to but I know that she did. Like you do. Tell me agent, had you ever been with a real man?" he asks as his hands move down towards my breasts
"Don't you dare" I say as I try to move away from him
"Oh I do. The things I could make you feel... Tell me that you're not even curious" he says
"I'm not. I know what a loser you are from the way you are talking to me right now. You are always looking for approval and that's why you want to show how 'good' you are. That's usually coming from guys with low self esteem that's mostly always caused by... small things" I say and he wraps his hands around my throat this time but without squeezing.
"I could kill you right now" he says
"If you wanted to, you would have already pulled that trigger" I say and he immediately puts the gun on my head. I look him in the eyes without flinching.
"Daniel McKlay, put the weapon" I hear Aaron say and I turn to look at him. I see him and Spencer pointing their guns towards Daniel. I hear Daniel pull the hammer of the gun but Aaron immediately shoots him. He runs to me and starts to untie me.
"Anne Gallen is here, she's alive" I say
"I'm on it" Spencer says and leaves.
"Are you ok?" Aaron asks as he helps me stand up and checks the cut on my forehead
"I'm fine" I say and we hug
"I love you but don't call me sweetheart ever again" he says and I chuckle
"I love you too" I say.
We go outside and he makes me go to the ambulance so they can check me out. He went back inside to help get McKlay out since he shoot him to the leg. They put him in the police car and he cames back to me. "Just a concussion" I say as he sits next to me. "Why do I always attract the crazy ones?" I ask and he chuckles "Except with you" I say and I kiss him. He wraps his arm around me and we look at the Anne Gallen and her husband who were just reunited. They were so cute that made me tear up. "You think we will be so in love in 30 years?" I ask
"I don't know. But I guess we'll have to try and see" he says and kisses me.
