For the rest of the week and while Aaron was working I took Jack to stay at my apartment in order to give Jessica some extra time. But the weekend Aaron convinced me to go stay with them at his place. We've also started looking at houses for a few weeks now and we just put an offer on our favourite of all the ones we've seen and I'm already excited. I mean, practically, we have been living together for the last two months with the only difference being that some days we were in his place and some days in my place.
Surprisingly I was the first one to wake up this Saturday morning and I decided to put it in good use. So I made regular and chocolate chip pancakes. When I was halfway through the batter, I heard step coming towards the kitchen. "I smell pancakes" Aaron says as he comes in the kitchen "Then I'd say that your nose works great" I say and he chuckles. He walks to me and hugs me from behind "Good morning" he says burying his face in my neck "Good morning" I say and we kiss. "Any news about the house?" I ask "No, not yet" he says.
"Can I have some pancakes?" Jack asks excited and immediately take a step away from eachother "Did you make your bed?" I ask "Yes" he says "Brushed your teeth?" I ask "No" he says "Go brush your teeth while I make your plate" I say and he runs to the bathroom. I put two chocolate chip pancakes on the plate and I pour some chocolate syrup on top. "Chocolate on chocolate, wow" Aaron says laying against the counter with his arms crossed "That's his favourite" I say "And for you I have regular pancakes with maple syrup cause your more of a classic guy" I say making his plate too. "Is that the profiler getting ready for Monday?" he asks "No, this is me knowing you that well" I say and I kiss him. I give him the two plates "Get them on the table and start eating" I say "What about you?" he asks "I'll finish the rest of the batter and I'll come" I say "Ok" he says and pecks my lips before he sits down.
When I was done, I went and sat with them. Aaron's phone rings and he goes to the bedroom to get it. But a few minutes past and he didn't come back so I went to see if everything is ok. I see him getting dressed "What happended?" I ask "Bank robbery with hostages downtown and Strauss wants us there. I'm sorry" he says "It's ok. Do you maybe want me to come help?" I ask "Nice try. We said Monday" he says "Worth the shot" I say and he smiles. He was also putting on his vest and with just black sleeveless t-shirt under it was so hot. "Have I told you how hot you look without sleeves? And with casual clothes? Especially black? And the tight vest just tops it off" I say running my hands up and down his bare arms. He smiles and kisses me. "I love you" he says "I love you too" I say and I let him go.
He goes back to the kitchen "Hey buddy, I gotta go. I'm sorry" he says "It's ok dad" Jack says and he continues eating. Aaron kisses his head and goes to the door. "You stay inside in case it turns into a pursue or--" he says "I know. Call me when you can" I say "I will" he says and kisses me once again before he walks out of the door. _____________
As the hours were passing and he didn't call me, I was getting a bit worried because I didn't really know what is happening. It was all over the news but I didn't want to turn the TV on because I didn't want Jack to hear or see anything graphic since there were pictures from inside the bank with a couple of dead people. He eventually called me in the afternoon "You remembered to call me?" I ask "Sorry, I was a bit busy. Many things happened today" he says "Is everyone ok?" I ask "We almost blew up, Will and Emily almost blew up twice and Will got shot" he says "How is he? How is JJ?" I ask "He is gonna be ok. JJ is with him in the hospital and they will get home in a few hours. And also I need to ask you something" he says "Tell me" I say "We've been invited to a wedding tonight. Do you think you can get ready in a couple of hours?" he asks "Who's getting married?" I ask "JJ and Will at David's" he says "Oh really? I'll need to go at my place and get ready" I say "I'll to be in the office for about one more hour so you and Jack go at your place, get ready and I'll come to pick you up" he says "Ok, see you" I say "Bye" he says and we hung up.
I took a shirt and a pair of jeans for Jack to change before we leave and went to my apartment. Though took me a lot longer to decide my outfit. Eventually, I landed to a maroon A-line dress that I had bought recently but never got a chance to wear.

About an hour later I was ready and I helped Jack get ready too. There was a knock on the door so I leave Jack and I go to open. "Wow" I say as I see Aaron. He was wearing one of his black suits but with a dark blue shirt inside. "I thought that I should take your advise and keep a dark coloured outfit for today. But I'd say the same thing about you" he says and pecks my lips. "Jack, do you need any help?" I ask "No, I'm coming" he says from the bedroom.
"You look amazing" he says and kisses me again "Thank you" I say and I kiss him. Jack comes to the living room "Hey dad" he says and they hug "Ready to go?" Aaron asks looking at the both of us "Jack needs to put his shoes on, I'll go bring my heels and bag from the bedroom and we can go" I say "Ok" he says. I wear my suede nude high heels, I grab my bag and I go back to the living room. "I'm ready" I say "Let's go then" Aaron says and opens the door for us.
As soon as we got to David's house, mansion actually, Jack immediately went to find Spencer because he had promise to teach him magic tricks. The first people we saw was Emily and Derek who were talking inside. "Hey!" Emily says as she sees me "Hey" I say and I hug her "I heard that you almost blew up twice today" I say "Yes" she says with a chuckle. "Hey princess, it's been a while" Morgan says hugging me "Yes, it has been a while" I say as we pull away.
He and Aaron go outside and I stay with Emily. She lets breath out "That bad?" I ask but she doesn't answer "What is it?" I ask "Interpol. Clyde asked me to run the English office" she says "And now you want to say yes but you also don't want to leave the BAU" I say "You guys are my family" she says "And we want what's best for you. You should go if that's what you want" I say "Really?" she asks "Yes, go. Or else you will be thinking about it and regret your decision later. If you want to go then you should go. We'll be here. We also have facetime, skype and many other ways to communicate overseas" I say "What about you?" she asks "I'll be fine. I'm always fine" I say and she smiles. We hug again and we hold it for a bit. "Thank you" she says "Anytime" I say. We pull away "Ok, it's not like I'm leaving tomorrow..." she says "Good because I'll be back on Monday and I'll need someone to talk to while I'll be staying in the bureau" I say and she chuckles. "Ladies..." I hear David from behind and I turn "The bride is about to come out" he says and we follow him outside.
After the ceremony, and the couple's first dance, we all joined them. We exchanged partners more than once but eventually I ended up with Aaron again. "I love you" he says looking me in the eyes "I love you too" I say and we kiss. "I love you and I want to marry you" he says "Ok, how many drinks did you have?" I ask "I am not drunk. I want to marry you because I don't want to ever lose you" he says to me as we keep dancing "You are amazing. And I'm not the only one who thinks of that" he says and looks at Jack. "For the past two months you've been his mom. You've taken care of him like you are his mom and that's what I love the most. So Agent Jessie Grey, will you do me the honours of being my wife?" he asks "I will Agent Aaron Hotchner" I say and we kiss. "I would get you a ring but someone told me that you are not really into wearing a bunch of rings so I thought to invest on a good wedding ring instead of an engagement ring" he says "That's a great idea" I say and I kiss him. I lay my head on his shoulder and we keep dancing. I look at Emily and she smiles.
