This chapter is from Mr. Costanzo's POV and I feel like things are starting to fall into place and come together now soo read and vote (:
I barely got any sleep last night, but it looks like Anderson didn't get any. When he walks into the office, his tie isn't fixed and his suit is wrinkly. He heads towards his cubicle without stopping by Brian's office like he usually does.
I walk into his work area to see what is wrong.
"Fancy seeing you here." He says sarcastically.
"I noticed your lack of enthusiasm this morning and decided that I should come check on you since you are a valuable worker at this company." I state trying not to roll my eyes.
Anderson doesn't do anything for this company. I don't even know why I'm trying to make him feel better. He acts like he has a stick up his butt half of the time.
Putting him as an assistant to Trent maybe the smartest thing I've ever done. I know he's going to ruffle Trent's feathers and when he does, he's going to be dismissed before he can beg for forgiveness.
"I woke up not feeling so good" He says groaning and holding his stomach.
"Are you sure that's it? You look like you've been crying all night." I say.
"Nina left me." He states putting his head in his hands.
"What made her leave?" I ask.
Nina didn't act like she was going to leave him yesterday. He must've really pushed her buttons.
"I cheated on her with her sister." He mumbles.
"Aria?" I ask disbelievingly.
"Yes sir." He mumbles.
Is this boy dumb? You never cheat on the woman you love and you surely don't cheat on her with her sister. That's her blood. It doesn't matter if they hate each other.
Anderson's pitiful cries leave me disgusted. He probably broke Nina's heart. All for some trashy want to be.
I leave him to figure out his problems. I decide not to call Nina yet because she needs time to get herself together.
I inform my secretary to page Trent. He said something about a girl and that's exactly what I need to keep my mind away from it murderous thoughts about Anderson.
"Hey unc, you wanted to see me?" Trent questions while taking a seat on the couch near my desk.
"Yes, I want to hear about this girl you like. " I say going throught my schedule for the day.
"I met her at Neon's." He says shyly.
I motion for him to continue. Trent acts like I'm going to reprimand him for going to a club. He's still young. How is he going to find a good wife cooped up in the house?
"She's nice, a little shorter than me, and she's the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." He says staring at his hands.
"Well if she's so beautiful, why are you talking to me instead of talking to her?" I ask.
"She already has a boyfriend and he hates my guts." He states.
"But what? I know there is a but because you're pursuing a woman that's already tied to another man and that's something a Costanzo doesn't do." I say.
"I think he beat her because of me. There is nothing I can do about it. I'm pretty sure she won't leave him." He sighs.
As he tells me more, the puzzle pieces start to fit together in my mind. Opening my bottom drawer, I take out a picture and hand it to Anderson.
It's a picture of the first time Nina and I had lunch at the diner.
"Is this her?" I ask happy and afraid at the same time.
Nina would be the perfect person for Trenton. She's not that outgoing, but when she gets a drink don't underestimate her social skills. She's beautiful and she's one of the smartest young ladies I know, but there are some things that that they both don't know yet.
"Yeah. Why do you have a picture of her." He asks staring at the picture.
The way he stares at her shows me how much he likes her.
"Nina is like a daughter to me." I say trying to ignore the subject.
"This is great and I don't even have to worry about you not liking her." He laughs.
"Indeed it is, but you need to go call her. She could use a young friend to talk to right now. Not an old man like me." I say chuckling.
"I think I'm going to invite her to lunch. Do you want me to get you something?" He asks.
"No thanks. Go call you're future wife." I tease.
A blush paints his cheeks and he mumbles a few cuss words before leaving my office.
If they date I'm going to have so much fun teasing them.
Janice, my secretary, informs me that my client is ready for our meeting and just like that I'm back into the business world.
I have to make sure everything is in order before Trent takes over. Of course I'll still be helping him, but I don't want him to have a huge load on his hands before he gets used to the job.
I trust Trent and I know he is capable of taking this company to another level, but I also know that he needs to start off easy.

*Later that day*
I guess Trent's lunch plan was successful since he didn't come back to work.
Anderson is still here moping around and it's really getting on my nerves. I am so thankful his shift ends in five minutes. If he stays here any longer, I might just kill him.
Walking out of my office, I let Janice know that she can go home. She says a quick thank you before grabbing her things, eager to leave.
We have tons of work to do, but I overheard Janice telling someone that her son has a football game tonight.
Family always comes first. I learned that the hard way and I ended up loosing someone important. The only woman I've ever loved.
I've never told anyone about her and I know she doesn't talk to anyone about me, especially our daughter.
I can't even call her my daughter anymore since I signed the adoption papers. Now she's walking around thinking that the man her mother married for money is her daddy.
Vivian was my high school sweetheart. I know she loved me, but money was her number one priority. I tried to make her happy. I got a job and I spent so many hours away from home trying to impress her, that I was replaced.
Instead of staying with a "poor" boy like me, she went after the rich man saying that he could take care of her and our unborn child.
I worked so hard to get her back without revealing my family's secret and now I'm the one with all the money and the rich man she went after is on the verge of dying.
She has one big "happy" family full of lies. The man thinks that Nina is his child, their oldest child, Aria, is adopted and she doesn't know it, and Vivian doesn't love him. I know she doesn't.
Many times I've wanted to tell Nina that she's my child, but I always end up changing my mind.
The relationship we have now is more than I could ask for.
In the multimedia is Mr. Costanzo and that's all I have to say because I'm really done with myself right now. -_-
