Visiting The Hemmings

     It was finally the day where you were going to fly to Sydney to visit Luke's family. The plane landed in the late afternoon. Liz had just pulled into the pick up area as you were walking out with your luggage. She got out to help you put your baggage in the back seat.
       "How are you darling? We haven't seen each other in years."
       "I'm doing good. Pregnancy hasn't been too tough on me. I would say that nothing much has changed since we saw each other last."
       "That's good to hear." Liz smiled.
        Your phone rang and to your surprise it was Luke.
       "Hey Luke how's it going?"
         "Oh my god you sound Australian." He laughed. "Never mind, I'm just calling cause we had to do an emergency landing part way through our flight cause something was wrong with the engine or one of the propellers."
        "Is everyone ok?" Liz looked over to you and gave a reassuring smile.
        "Yeah everyone's ok, everyone's fine. Michael's little one is a bit shaken up at the moment. Have you got to Australia safely?"
"It was a long flight but yes. Liz is actually driving me back to your parents place right now." You took the phone away from your face and Liz said hi.
"That's good. Well we're getting called to board this next flight. I'll talk with you as soon as I can."
      "Ok. Talk to you soon."
       Luke said goodbye and hung up the phone. You and Liz talked all the way back to the Hemmings household. When you and Liz got to the house, you were greeted by Andy, Ben and Jack. The five of you had some lunch, then sat down to talk about life in Australia and LA. Andy then helped you put your bags in the guest room, then left you to have some time to adjust. You opened up your luggage and made yourself at home. Your phone screen then lit up by a notification. Luke had texted you.
Luke: Hey babe, we just landed safe and soundly, I just wanted to check in to see how you're doing
You: I'm doing good. These kids miss you though
Luke: I miss those kiddos so much. I can't wait to be back home
You: Same here Lu. It's lonely and Piggy misses you. I took it before I left for Australia

Luke didn't respond for a while and it worried you. Sooner then later, he responded.
Luke: Sorry hun, management was talking about something and I needed to pay attention
You: It's alright, management can be like that. I'd be someone to know that the most lol
Luke: Yes you would :) ❤️ man I really miss you and the twins right now
You: I miss you too Lukey. Can you promise me something though?
Luke: What is it?
You: Never let us get to the point of breaking up again. It tore me up when we broke up last time
Luke: I promise. But I have to get going to rehearsals now but I don't think we're gonna be playing late.
You: Ok talk to you soon. Love you 😘
Luke: Love you too doodlebug. Talk to you soon.
      You put your phone down and climbed into bed. Liz woke you up about a couple hours later for dinner.
       "So Y/N, have you had any bad cravings?" Andy asked.
       "I've had one, but it's passed now. It was cereal, orange juice and tauter sauce. I have no idea where the idea came for the tauter sauce but there wasn't any milk at the time so I just used orange juice."
        "That's disgusting." Jack commented.
        "Yeah I know. Glad it's over." You smiled.
       Once dinner had finished up, you helped Liz with the dishes as the guys did some yard work.
       "So tell me, how's Luke with the pregnancy? My mom gut is telling me that he's not saying the whole deal." She put a plate in the dishwasher. "He's only said how excited he is."
      "He's glued to the bump." You both laughed. "I mean he just loves feeling the twins move." You grabbed your phone from your back pocket. "I have a video of him the day before he left."
      You put on the video as Liz pouted and put her hands over her heart.
       "He already loves those two so much Y/N. I bet this little tour is difficult for him."
        "Yeah it is. It's hard for the both of us since the last time we dated, tour was the thing that's tore us apart." You sighed. "But this time around is gonna be better. One time on the phone or something, Luke was just going on about how much he's excited for them to come so that he can show them all the different places on tour."
        "Yep that definitely sounds like my son." Liz laughed. "I'm also gonna be joining them on the small tour soon so then it'll just be you and the guys."
      "That's gonna be interesting." You joked.
Later that night you got a call from Luke.
"Hey doodlebug. Sorry I couldn't talk to you after the show. We immediately had to go to a last minute meet and greet."
"It's alright Luke. Your family and I had a busy day as well. I also get to find out the genders tomorrow."
"Oh wow is it that time already?"
"Yeah, I'm planning on doing a little reveal party with your family and a couple of friends. My dad and half sister, Wesley, are coming down, as well as Lucy and Caroline. Then maybe some friends from middle school that I've kept in touch with. I want to keep it small so that it doesn't reach the fans."
"Well if it makes you happy then I'm happy."
"Thanks Lukey." There was a pause. "I just wish you were here to witness this big moment with me."
"As long as I'm there to watch them be born, that's all I care about."
"You sure?"
"Yes I'm sure. I'm gonna watch it over FaceTime, remember?"
"Yeah. I remember. I just miss you that's all."
"I miss you too momma." He yawned. "Well it's almost midnight here, plus you're gonna need some rest."
"You're right on that Lulu." You rubbed your bump as the twins kicked. "I'll let you sleep. I bet you're pretty tired from the show and you'll need the rest for tomorrow."
       "You're already such a mom and I love it." He laughed through an exhale. "I hate to admit it but it turns me on."
        You blushed a little. "Well I guess the mother in me is coming out sooner then I thought? The father in you has already began to come out, I mean you can't take your hands off me when your at home."
        "It's not my fault that I'm already super attached to them."
        "I don't blame you Luke. I'm super attached to them as well."
         The two of you talked for another hour before hanging up. Every time you talked with Luke, they would be more active. You laid down in bed and fell asleep.
