Today was the day that both Y/N and I decided to tell the guys about the twins. I was feeding Petunia when I heard light footsteps walking on the hardwood. Y/N walked around the corner with some pyjama pants and one of my t shirts.
"How's mommy doing this morning?" I asked, wrapping my arms around her as she did the same.
"Feeling a little nauseous but ok otherwise."
I kissed the top of her head. She released from the hug and shivered. I gave her a funny look as she laughed as she took the orange juice out of the fridge, then drank it straight from the carton.
"I have to head into the studio for a bit ok? I'll tell you the guys reactions when I get back."
"Ok Lu. See you after. Thanks for doing this by the way." She smiled.
"No problem gorgeous. I get how nervous you might be with having twins young, and having to tell the guys about it. I'm pretty nervous too."
She nodded and I left the house. I got into my car and exhaled, pulling out of the driveway. Having twins with Y/N was a big deal for the two of us, and the rest of the band since the guys were gonna be almost as much involved in the twins lives as her and I. The music played softly in the background as I thought of a decent way of spilling the news. I pulled into the parking lot of the studio. It was a little after nine in the morning, thankfully I wasn't the last and Calum still had to arrive. I took out my wallet to flip it to a picture of Y/N holding the line of ultrasound pictures next to her stomach, I kissed it and got out of the car. I found my way through the building and to the assigned room where the boys and I would be starting the writing process for our next album. Michael, Ashton and I were all brainstorming different ideas for lyrics when Calum walked in the door.
"Well took you long enough Calum. What took you so long?" I laughed as both Micheal and Ashton joined.
"I promised Veronica that she could come to one of our meetings or whatever one day. Today was the day she decided she wanted to come." He smiled as his wife waved from behind him.
Crystal had taken Juniper to a doctors appointment and would meet back here for the remainder of the writing session.
"So Michael, are you and Crystal planning on going on a honeymoon anytime soon?" I asked looking up from my paper.
"We do want to go on one, but Juniper isn't the biggest fan of flying. She freaks out and screams whenever it's take off or landing. Though we did get a good tip from not a first time mother for taking off and landing." He exhaled and laughed scribbling something down. "I do want to take her and little Juniper somewhere nice before we head in the road again. Maybe in the next few weeks cause her band is taking a week off."
Crystal then walked in with the baby. Michael quickly grabbed the little infant and cuddled her.
"I can look after her, you spend time with  Veronica." Michael said swaying side to side.
He sat back down and placed the baby on her butt in his lap. She looked around as Michael held her small body. Then we heard gagging from the other room and someone get up.
"Sorry guys, she's been feeling on the sick side recently. It's been bad, but she really wanted to come." Calum sighed and went into the other room.
Michael, Ashton and I just looked at each other before Ashton opened his mouth to talk.
"Call me crazy but I think she could be pregnant. I mean my wife is currently sick as a dog."
"Should we go see if she's alright?" Michael asked, his daughter becoming a little in the squirmy side.
"Yeah we should." I nodded as the three of us got up.
Calum was over with his wife, rubbing her back as she finished.
"I know this is gonna sound insane but as of right now my wife is throwing up like that almost daily still. Cal..... did you get your wife knocked up?" Ashton asked looking back and fourth between Calum and his wife.
It was quiet for a moment when Calum's wife finally spoke up.
"Well.... I mean I guess." She turned sideways and showed off a growing bump.
"Congrats man." I said to Calum as everyone else cheered. "So when are you due Veronica?"
"My due date is November 10th." She smiled.
Now was the time to say it. This was the perfect time to announce the news.
"Well I already have permission from my girl to say this. But we're pregnant as well. Found out it was twins just yesterday at the appointment." I said rubbing the back of my neck.
We talked for a little bit after that as Calum's wife and Calum got to hold Juniper. We got the day all wrapped up, just as we were about to leave Ashton had me stay behind.
"Listen mate. If you or Y/N need any help with your twins just ask me or Isabelle, my wife, and we can give you some tips." He sat down of on the the chairs. "Most importantly, are you feeling about all this? Are you and Y/N  prepared to have children as young as you are? Hell what does Liz think?"
"My family is totally fine with it. Y/N's mom isn't, she kicked her out so she's living with me. But we both want this Ash. The twins will be born after she graduates and I'll be with her every step of the way. I'm already so attached to them I couldn't imagine my life without them."
"Ok Luke. I'm just worried that's all. When you and Y/N first dated back in 2014 the two of you were on and off because of your schedules, then you got together with that toxic b*tch. I just want what's best for you. Even if Y/N and you do split up and she takes the kids with her. I'm most certain it will damage her not having the kids father in their lives. She knows that pain all too well."
"Thanks Ashton. I gotta go home now, she hasn't been feeling well all day today."
"See you next time mate. And congrats again on the twins. You deserve it."
The two of us hugged and I returned home. Y/N was curled up on the couch with Petunia lying on the floor next to her. I smiled, walking over to her and bringing her sleeping body into my chest. I kissed her head, then placed my hand on her stomach while my thumb brushed across the fabric of the shirt. I couldn't believe that I was gonna be a dad.
