Spending time with the Hemmings

       It was a couple of days after the gender reveal and you were looking over the footage that Liz caught. One angle was of the reveal and the other was of Luke and the guys on your laptop. You kept replaying the footage of the first balloon, when it revealed that it's was a baby boy. Ashton, Calum and Michael were cheering, while Luke had the biggest grin on his face as he began to cry without knowing it. Then the second balloon pop. All four boys were stuck to the screen as Luke burst out in tears, immediately covering his face with his hands. You were starting to put together the announcement video one snippet at a time, starting with the video Luke took while at the first appointment.
        "..... I'm pregnant...." Your voice filled the room as you looked at how different you were.
       Then it got to the part where you recorded yourself right after the break up.
      "Well..... Luke and I broke up." Your past and current self were crying. "I broke up with him cause of him not being around as much as I would've liked. As most of you know, I didn't grow up with a dad. Uhhh... I'm not sure what's gonna happen now, but I'm really confused on where to go with this pregnancy. I'm thinking of going through with it and putting the twins up for adoption once their born, but you guys, my fans, know that I would never be able to bring myself to it."
        You clicked edit and edited the part where you were gonna talk about a possible abortion. Liz came into the room and sat beside you.
      "Y/N darling what's wrong?" She rubbed your upper arm.
      "Oh nothing. I'm just going through the footage for the announcement video for when the twins get here." You wiped away your tears.
      "You can always talk to one of your future in-laws about anything. We're a no judge household." She smiled and your nodded.
       "I should probably stop editing this and look for possible things to put in the nursery." You laughed.
        "I'll let you get too it then." Liz left the room leaving you to look at baby stuff.
           After an hour of looking online you and the Hemmings went out to lunch, it was a colder day so you put on a comfortable outfit that could easily hide your bump that seemed to have grown.

       You were all sat at a table when you saw a couple of girls talking at a couple tables down. They kept looking at your table, and soon the girls took their phones out. You knew that they were taking pictures and recording on their cameras. You had a very shy fanbase, so you were used to things like this happening quite often.
     "So Y/N, have you thought of any baby names so far?" Andy asked.
     "Andy I just found out what Luke and I where having two days ago. For me, there's no rush to find names just yet. Plus I want to talk to Luke to see if he has any name suggestions as well."
     "That's a good idea. Picking baby names are difficult. The baby is gonna have it for he rest of their lives. Unless they decide to change it that is." Liz commented.
      "Wow I never even thought of that." Jack said.
      The five of you ate then left the restaurant without any problems. Then you all went shopping for a little while before heading back to the house. Jack and Ben went back to their houses as Liz and Andy had gotten themselves busy with doing some stuff around the house. You were writing down lyrics for a song idea when Luke texted you.
Luke: Hey momma, we just finished performing and now we're heading back to the hotel. How're you and the twins doing?
You: I'm doing good, the twins have been sooooo active in the last little bit that I've been back. Your family and I went to a restaurant to eat lunch then we went shopping. My feet are so swollen 😵
Luke: Just make sure you don't overwork yourself ok. I love you and don't want you getting hurt since you're carrying our little girl and boy.
You: I promise Luke. I would never push myself to hurt me or our children. Now that you think of it, I should have a nap.
Luke: Alright doodlebug. Goodnight ❤️
You: Goodnight Lu. Make sure to get some rest
Luke: ❤️
     You looked down at the piece of paper and put it away into your song writing book. You got into bed and fell asleep. The rest of the day went by smoothly. It wasn't until you finished a video call with Luke when you started to feel pain. You thought nothing of it since they were small and didn't come too close together. The pain was able to sleep through until you woke up with a stabbing pain. It was breathable but almost unbearable. You waited until it ended before getting out of bed and walk downstairs. Liz was on the couch texting someone.
       "Liz?" You said quietly.
       "Yes darling?" Her concentration moved towards you.
       "I um. I'm having really bad cramps. I.... I don't know what's happening." You started to tear up, as you walked down the rest of the stairs and sat on the couch.
       "It's ok Y/N. How far apart are these pains?"
      "I don't know. But pretty far apart."
      "Ok. Are you hungry?" She got up to go to the kitchen.
      "Not really but a snack would be good." You took a sharp inhale as you got another pain.
      Liz came back in with apple slices. "Here. Try eating."
      You hesitated and ate a little bit of the apple slice. The pain suddenly went away. You were able to finish the slices
      "I'm guessing the pain went away?" She smiled.
      "Yeah. It did."
       "That means that you're experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions. They're contractions that prepare your body for the labouring process."
You sniffled and held your bump as the twins kicked.
"I think that I'm finally realizing that I'm gonna be a mom." You wiped your tears.
"It's a crazy feeling. Trust me, being a mother is the best thing that's gonna happen to you, and by the looks of things; Luke is gonna be there for you and the kids." She held your hand reassuringly.
"I just miss him so much." You shakily exhaled. "I don't think I've ever missed him this much before."
"It's all gonna be alright. He's gonna be back with you in no time."
"Do you want to feel them kick?" You smiled, lifting up Luke's shirt.
"Of course I do."
Liz put her hand onto your stomach as the twins kicked.
"You got quite the movers there." Liz laughed.
"Yeah they move a lot. Luke loves it. It's gonna be interesting to see if their as active as they are out of the womb as they are in."
"Well I have to go to the airport. Don't worry I'll tell Luke about everything. Even these false contractions."
"Thanks Liz. I should probably go to bed now anyways. I need the sleep." You smiled and stood up.
"Alright Darling. Have a good rest. Next time we meet, I'm gonna have a granddaughter and grandson."
"You're right Liz. Have a good flight."
She smiled and you went up to bed. You sat in bed and rubbed your bare bump before falling asleep.
