I looked at my phone as it buzzed in my hand.
Dad: Have you spoke to Alley Cat?
Jr.: Yes she was so 😂
she ran out of the plc.
Dad: I told you she will make
a great addition to the family.
You need to be careful. You
will scare her.
Jr.: Yeah we will tlk more
abt it later.
Dad: Ok see you soon.😉
Damn I wanted to follow her out to see if see was waiting for me. I thought as I put my phone back in my backpack. I stepped out the tent nearly last. The volunteers was cleaning up and stacking the chairs. The sun was in my face so I couldn't see the direction she left in.
Alisha's POV
6:50pm
Damian was on a date, and I can't go see him. My dad still live in my childhood home with mom for the time being. I think I need to take some time off to find my missing brains because I done lost my ever lasting mind. I was packing a few item to go to a hotel when there was a knock on my door. I looked at the peep hole. Huh? I did a double take. I opened the door and standing on the other side was my mom.
"Mom what do I have the pleasure of seeing you here in my home for the first time in 10 years?" Sceptical one eyebrow raised.
"Why does it have to be a special occasion to see my middle child?" She coyly asked back while ahe smoothes her salt and pepper wavy hair back into it's low bun.
I see this is a will be a fight to the brutal end. We will continue to fight with answers wrapped in a question for eternity. I fired back another question that I finally got a straight answer for.
"Tell me the real reason behind you being here?" I said irritated.
" If you must know" Shantel was starting her (BS)talk while I listen. " You're not getting any younger. Matter of fact you are turning 31 on your Birthday. I hoping you will go on a date with Leon..."
"Hold up mom." I said with a fearful look on my face." Leon? Jr?! No way in hell will I date him. Matter of fact tell his ass to stay away from me!" I felt myself screaming at the top of my lungs. I jumped up and walked the door.
Opened it.
My mom watched me with a small smile got up from the bar stool in my dining area, and proceeded to the door that I had opened so kindly for her.
" Well you will be able to say we are both doing Leons!" She giggled and walked out.
Oh no. We not doing this I just shook my head in shock at my mother totally speechless. I just slammed the door in her face. I ran in my bedroom grabbed the freshly packed bag and left out of the door myself.
"Hey darling your mom said you was coming out to greet me." Leon Jr. approach from my side as I was walking towards the apartment building's parking deck.
Hearing his soft slithering like a snake voice. I coiled back from him as he reached out to stroke my face.
