It had been three years since Norgyn and the darkness tried to take over the world.

"Prince Emmett, Princess Ella! Please hurry! The banquet is about to start!" a servant hollered through the twins bedroom door.

"We'll be right there, Mildryn!" Emmett yelled in response.

"Please hurry! You don't have one of these every day!"

Emmett knocked on the door to the wardrobe "Ella. What's taking so long? This banquet is for Hilda, not you."

Ella poked her head out of the wardrobe "I'm done, geez. I'm coming."

She stepped out of the wardrobe, wearing a light blue dress and her hair flowing out in simple curls behind her.

"It took you thirty minutes to do that?" Emmett asked, sarcastically.

Ella elbowed him in the stomach and they walked out the door, following Mildryn to the banquet hall. Their father sat next to Sigyn, who was holding their little sister; Hilda. Hilda had a tuft of blonde hair, like Sigyn and blue-y green eyes, like their father.

Ella and Emmett sat down across from them and smiled. It was a celebration for Hilda, as she was born on a night where the sky was lit up.

The Northern Lights, for anyone confused.

Ella and Emmett watched Hilda play with the table cloth and laugh as she spilled a few peas across the table. Throughout supper, Hilda would laugh up the food she was eating, but she never made anyone cross. It was impossible to be cross at her.

Emmett looked out the window every once in a while and smiled. He saw he and Ella's mother out there; watching them from the sky. Sometimes, it was hard to look up at the sky, because it hurt to look into her face. But, Emmett knew that she was watching over them, because she loved them.

Ella and Emmett stood on the Bifrost awaiting their father, Sigyn, and Hilda. The time of the year had arrived where Ella and Emmett go back to Earth to stay with their adoptive families for a few months.

Emmett hugged their father and Sigyn goodbye. When he hugged Hilda goodbye, though, the child clung to his clothing like he was going away forever. Emmett tried to stand up, but Hilda clung tighter.

"I'll have to leave soon." Emmett told her.

"No..." Hilda said, quietly.

Ella crouched down in front of Hilda "We'll be back in a few months, okay?"

Hilda shook her head "No..." she said again.

Loki crouched next to Hilda "Hilda, they have to go visit their families on Earth. They'll be back."

Hilda backed away against Loki's knee. Sigyn crouched down next to them. Ella and Emmett stood up and waved goodbye, then walked to the portal. They felt their feet leave the Bifrost and they rushed down to Maine; appearing in Ella's backyard.

Emmett smiled and followed Ella into her house. Inside, Ella's adoptive mother held an envelope in her hand. Next to her sat Emmett's adoptive father, holding a similar envelope. Taking the envelope's from their adoptive parents, Ella and Emmett looked at each other.
