Ella opened her eyes lying on the ground again. She must've fallen asleep and fallen off her perch on the wall. She heard voices.

"Master. She is strong in telekinetic magic. She could be the one to revive you; not Loki." Norgyn said.

Ella got to her feet and walked to the bars "That's why you want my father?!" she faced the darkness "To revive yourself from a petty form?!"

The darkness stayed put, but a smoky figure was just visible in front of it.

"Your father did this to me! He will pay!" it said.

Norgyn bowed to him "But, she is stronger than Loki, because both her parents were trained in sorcery!"

"Hmm.... fine. Take her to the machine. We started immediately."

Emmett roused himself from a daze "Ella...."

He ran down the hall towards where his father was.

Bursting through the door, panting "Father! Ella..... is..... in danger!"

Loki stood up and looked at Thor. Thor looked at him, as if to say 'No, you're at too much of a risk.', but Loki paid no attention to it. He ran after Emmett, who was already halfway down the hall.

Outside, Emmett climbed into a vehicle and waited, as the controls looked too confusing to him. Loki hopped in after him and started it up. He flew across the water and through a crevice in a mountainside. Emmett closed his eyes as they went through.

When he opened them again, they were not where Emmett thought they would be.

"No." Loki said, defeated.

Emmett looked around "The Avengers Headquarters?" he turned to the sky "Ella isn't here, bonehead!"

Something flung at Emmett's head, which he dodged quickly. He stuck out his finger to the sky and walked away.

Loki sunk to the ground, shaking his head "I cannot believe that didn't work. It always does."

Emmett banged on the front door to the Avengers building.

"Open up, please! Open up!" he yelled.

Steve Rogers voice came over the intercom "Emmett? What are you doing out of Asgard?"

Emmett completely lost his cool. He looked up at the security camera and yelled "Ella has been kidnapped and we can't get to her, you idiots!"

The door opened and Emmett ran inside, with his father following him. The Avengers stood before them, some holding their firearms at ready. Emmett knew they had good reason to not trust his father, so he tried to ignore it.

He failed "Oh, come on! Put those down!"

Loki approached them slowly "I won't hurt any of you. I promise."

They looked to each other and, hesitantly, drew back their firearms. Emmett walked down the hall to try and find some kind of tracking room. He found a room that he guessed was it, so he entered it. He was right.

Under his breath, not caring about the people behind him "Come on, Ella. Where are you?"

Ella let out a scream as she struggled against the binds that held her to the weird contraption.

"It is no use, girl." Norgyn said, harshly "You cannot escape your fate."

Ella looked up and pulled as hard as she could against the binds, unsuccessfully. Norgyn held some weird helmet in his hands. Approaching her with it, he slipped it on her head.

"This may hurt. But we'll go easy on you to start."

He flicked a switch and pulled a lever. Ella felt an extremely agonizing pain in her head and she let out a long exhausted scream. When the pain stopped, she heard herself mutter:

"Dad, please. Help me."

Then, she felt the pain again and another shrill scream came out of her mouth.

Everything went black after that.
