"Jandineim? Of all places?" Emmett said to himself, exasperated.

Tony looked at him with his hands on his hips "And how do you know what it is, kid?"

Emmett looked up at him with a Thomas Sanders-esque look of shock mixed with confusion "Uh, I- uh- I have nightmares. And they are often in Jandineim."

Emmett was freaking out a little, because he didn't know how better to explain the reason behind him knowing what Jandineim was. But, Tony and any of the other Avengers didn't question him further and went to the next topic of discussion.

Tony looked up and the screen and reached out as if to zoom in on some text "Shit. Okay, well, this description is in another language. I can't read it."

Emmett leaned forward at it "Jandineim is located in the Cantonian quadrants; just past the jump point." he straightened back up and looked around to Tony "That is what you were looking for, right?"

Tony was frozen in his place his mouth hanging open "Uh, uh, uh.... y-yes. Yes, it was." he finally said.

Emmett nodded and proceeded to the back. He thought he heard Tony say something like, 'A twelve year old is smarter than me.'

Emmett chuckled and craned his neck around to look at him "I'm fifteen, for the record."

Tony shook his head and looked at him with a look that said 'Did I ask?', which made Emmett turn back around and face the floor.

He sat down in the corner and listened to Clint, Tony, Natasha, and Steve argue about how they were going to get to Jandineim. He wanted to interject, but they broke off to have some alone time before he got the chance. Banner watched them leave before coming over to sit down next to Emmett.

"Hey, kid. You alright?"

Emmett shrugged "I guess I'm used to Tony's look, but it still hurts whenever I see it."

Banner looked out the window, before turning back to Emmett "You could--"

"Why though? I have barely gotten to know my father and he's off somewhere in the facility, alone." Emmett sighed "Plus, I think he likes Ella more."

Banner frowned "Why do you say that?"

"Because he put in an effort to have a conversation with her, not with me." Banner chuckled "What's so funny?"

"Have you put in an effort to talk to Loki?" he asked Emmett.

Emmett looked to the floor "No, I guess I haven't. It might be because I was feeling resentful towards him before. But, now I'm not."

Banner nodded at him and nudged him slightly "Go on, kid. He's the only father you get." he thought about this "Well, you know what I mean." Emmett stood and proceeded to the door, but Banner added before Emmett left "And don't take every action Tony does so seriously. Most of the time, it's just for laughs."

Emmett nodded and went out the door, he found his father in front of display case. Emmett looked at it and noticed it was where the Avengers displayed their victories. Loki was staring at a photo of New York, when he destroyed it. He took it out of the display case and threw it on the ground, then kicked it under the case.

Emmett chuckled at this. He wrapped his arms around Loki and smiled. Loki hugged him back and Emmett said without thinking "I forgive you."
