Immediately I got up. I looked around my room frantically. "N-Nightmare!" I called out terrified. I didn't get an answer. "Leave!" I said with what little courage I had. I looked back at the window. As I notice the light of the moon dimming. It looked like a black blanket started to cover the window. Or should I say goo?

I panic and ran to my nightstand. I quickly open the drawer and pull out a flashlight. "Show yourself!" I yell. Rose stayed perched on my shoulder. Her whiskers twitched anxiously and her ears moved back and forth. I heard a light chuckle ring through my ear. I turned around as Rose jumped and hovered slightly.

"It's so hard to tell where he i-" she cut off. I looked up a little and see a tentacle slithering back. I turn my flashlight on and move it towards the area. Nothing.

I look around again with the flashlight shining where it can. "Boo." I jumped as his voice rang in my ears. I see his blue eye glowing while his smile stayed plastered wide. I looked back at the window. It wasn't completely covered. I ran over and touched the wooden frame.

"Ja-" a hand cut me off.

"Shh~." He hummed by my ear. "Be quiet." He said quietly. I breathed hard against his hand. I tried lifting up my hands only for them to have a tentacle around them.

"Mmmm!!" I tried to call. Only for him to tighten his grip.

"You wanna talk?" He smiled. "Fine. Just not here." He said gripping tighter. I struggled and keep moving. I was able to bite him. He didn't really take offensive to that it didn't hurt him.

"Ja-" I called again. He covered my mouth. He chuckled lightly.

"Your mother lives here right?" He said sinisterly. He turned me around and showed me the door. "Do you mind if I pay her a visit?" My eyes widen. I shook my head aggressively. The fear consumed me. Nightmare leaned closer. He gave a soft giggle. "Then I suggest you cooperate." I nodded aggressively. I again tried to plead and spare my mother's life. His grin became wider. "Good girl." With that said the room became dark, goo surrounded us for a split second. It uncovered revealing a stone dark room. He let me go as I gasped for air. He walked past me casually.

"Why did you bring me here!" I spat at him as he took a seat on his throne. "I swear if you do an-"

"Calm down." He said in a raspy monotone voice. "I just wanna talk."

I growled under my breath. "Fuck off!" I yelled at him.

He tilted his head to the side. "Now, now." He said reaching into his pocket. "I recommend you participate. Or-" he cuts himself off as he summons a small glass jar. Rose was in there she was pounding on the glass.

"W-Wha- Wait!" When she was cut off earlier. That's when she was caught. "Hold on!" I yelled stepping forward. Nightmare cocked his eyebrow. He placed the jar near his feet.

"Good." Nightmare stood up and took a step forward. As he stepped forward as he turned into a puddle. He slithered forward and reformed in front of me. I gasp and took a step back as he reformed. I locked my gaze with his. I swallowed hard. He glared down at me with a soft smile.

The smile was so sweet that it was unsettling. "O-Okay what do you want." I stuttered.

"I have a proposition for you." he started. "Your little friend, what his name again, Ink?" he said with a tap on his chin. He placed his hand into his pockets. He pulled out a brown scarf. He held it out to me. "We had a little incident the other day." I gently grabbed the brown scarf.

I stared at it for a second. "Wha-what." I was thinking to myself. "He can't be- that's not possible." I stared at him. I clenched the scarf in my hands. "You killed him!" I shouted as the warm tears streamed down my face. "How could you!" I shouted once more this time approaching him.
