"Did you just call me a furry? Not saying that there is anything wrong with being a furry, but just wondering if you just called me furry." I say taking a seat on the bed.

"No, I called you a nekojin." he said taking out a little paintbrush from his pocket.

"A nekojin? Care to explain, what in the name of all things good that is?"  Ink nodded, twirling the brush.

"Okay, so a Nekojin is pretty much a half human and half animal, normally cats." The tip of the brush became a bright blue. Slowly he painted a DNA strand. "Nekojins were created, like me, to help protect universes." He then proceeds to draw a rectangular shape. "But they are given a guide, the book of AUs, all the information you want is in there." He then draws a small circle on the ceiling with his hug paint brush. He jumps in and and comes out with a blue covered book. The cover having the same mark as my hand. Quickly the portal closes. He stands there for a sec before he hands me the hard blue cover. "But it should also be protected, there are entities, like the one you met earlier, Nightmare. He seeks information, so getting his hands on these would be dangerous to life in every universe." I stare down at it for a second. "He also has his lackeys, they shouldn't be trusted either."

I look over to Ink. "But, why am I supposed to protect this and a bunch of universes." Ink shrugged.

"That's something I don't know, the creators choose you for a reason."

I scratched the back of my head. "That's a huge responsibility for one person." I say worried. Ink straightens up.

"Oh don't worry." He points to the painted DNA strand. "There's also someone else, just like you though this one isn't chosen by the Creators, they were born with the overwhelming pressures of protecting thousands of universes." The painting disappears. "So you and the other Nekojin must help not only I in protecting universes, but this book with your life." I sat there confused.

"What about, the other Nekojin, who are they? Do they know about me?" I say placing the book down.

"Whoa there hot shot, you were just chosen, I just explained everything, and you are heavily unexperienced. You really think the other guy knows anything about you? This just happened." He twirls the brush again. "And speaking of him, I should probably go tell him."

He got up and grabbed his brush. "Wait, how do find the other guy."

Ink looks over and shrugs. "I can't tell you much but that he's close." Ink makes another circle under him. I gave him eyes full of defeat. "Look I know that this is sudden and that maybe your life just became hell, but there's a reason the Creators chose you to help keep safe a few universes." he said with a smile before falling into the portal and disappearing.

"W-wait!" I yelled after him, but to no avail the portal closed. I stood there for a second. I looked back at the book. "The creators chose me?" I walked up to the book and held the hard cover. "Why?"

I leaned on the table as I thought to myself. Where have I seen it before? I rubbed my temple. I can't remember. Was it during the East Coast invasion or was it an oper- "SIR WE BROUGHT THE BOOK YOU REQ-" I sent a tentacle flicking the book upward and pushed the shadow Papyrus out, closing the door. The book landed on top of the slimy tentacle. I retreated it back and flicked the book back onto the table. I opened it and started to flick through some of the pages. I flickered aggressively until I came across the picture. I stopped. That's it. The carving, was the exact same as that girl. I quickly scanned the page.

"Pfft!" I shut it close. "Her! That weakling of a human!" I rubbed my hand on my face. "Ha, oh god, this is going to be easier than I thought!" I glance at the book again. "What power does she have? What makes her worthy of protecting lives?" I sighed feeling a gush of relief. "At least it'll be easy to finally get what I want, I've waited a little too long." Looking back at the door with a smile. "Error!" I called, waiting for a response. "Err-!

"W-WwhAAaT!" It came from above. I look up to see a portal as his head peeks out.

"I gotta job for you.

"WHaTtT KiNNnDa JoBBBBb?" He said, not interested. I cocked my head.

"A hunting job, let's say." Sounding interested Error came out the portal and stood near me. "I need you to find someone, a simple human." I said as I leaned forward to Error. "I want them alive." Error nodded.

"WhEEeN."

"As soon as possible." I say turning back to the table. I heard Error's slippers hit the stone floor.

"ConSSSSSsiDer it DonEEe." He said ready to go.

"Wait-" I said turning back. It'd be easier if we both go in case someone were to interfere. "Change of plans, I'll go as well. I don't want anyone interfering."
