BEEP BEEP BEEP

I groaned as I rolled to the side of my bed. Trying my best to cover my ears. Rose jumped up and turned it off for me. "Get up. You have school." She said looming over my face. I yawned.

"But I only slept for like 3 hours," I mumbled. She puffed up. "Pleeeeeeease." I wailed. "I don't want to get up yet," I say curling myself up more. Rose gave a disapproving groan.

"Get up," she said again. "You can't be in bed forever." She said as she got up.

"Wanna bet."

Rose then proceeded to open my door. Immediately I got up. She was gone. If my mom saw her...I immediately scrambled out of bed. Rushing out of the room. Where did she go? I frantically went downstairs. Where! Where! Where! Then I saw it. Rose was perched by the window. She was behind the curtain her silhouette was barely visible. Quickly holding onto the railing of the stairs I looked into the kitchen quickly. Then back to her.

"Psh. Rose! Come on!" I whispered aggressively. Rose squinted her eyes. She sniffed the air before looking back at me. "What now."

She jumped towards me. "This scent, it's so strong. It smells like rotting flesh." Quickly took a sniff of the air. Nothing. "You need to keep an eye out. They seem to be watching you." I flinched. I looked over to her.

"Who's they?" Before Rose can say anything footsteps could be heard from upstairs. I quickly leaned forward and grabbed the pink cat.

"Honey is that you?" mumbled a voice from the stairs. I quickly turned holding the small cat hostage in my palms. I left my arm behind myself as I turned to face her.

"Y-yeah! Sorry did I wake you up?" Mom rubbed her eyes and yawned.

"No, Andy just fell off the bed and I woke up." Again she yawned. "I'll be going back to bed. There's food in the fridge." She said turning around and waving her hand a bit. As she left, quickly she turned and looked at the cat.

"I have no idea what you're talking about but please let me have a normal day today without your, crypt shit okay?!" Rose squinted her eyes. She nodded ever so slowly. I let her go. She hovered before taking a seat on my shoulder. I groaned, "Now I have no choice but to get ready for school." I say in exhausted tone. I quickly walked back upstairs. I went to the restroom, changed and headed back down stairs. I opened the fridge. I grabbed some waffles from the freezer and plopped them into the toaster. I leaned on the counter while crossing may arms. Rose was still curiously peering out the windows. "Oh my goodness Rose, what the hell are you looking for?" I say rather annoyed.

She hummed before looking back at me. "There's someone here. It just an uneasy presence." She stated. She turned again and looked out the window. I rolled by eyes and continued on to grab my waffles. Grabbing them both before heading into the living room. I grabbed my backpack before heading out the door. Rose was perched inside my sweater. I couldn't really tell what was going on with her but she seemed to have calmed down a little bit. I moved and continued on. Heading to school was just part of the day I suppose.

As I walked I felt a little uneasy. God damn it Rose. Now I'm paranoid. I stopped for a second. I nibbled on my waffles before humming. My senses seem to be more on alert. I chewed slowly. I hummed to myself as I looked behind. "Who the fu-" I whispered to myself. That's when I heard a low chuckle. I quickly turned towards the voice. Who the fuck! "Hey Y/N!" I jumped quickly. A hand was gripping onto my shoulder.

"J-Jason!" I looked at him as I completely turned to face him. "H-Hi" Jason smiled, almost taking pride in his attempt to scare me. I pouted feeling a little frustrated. "Why do you do this!" He laughed having some enjoyment.
