Ugh. My back was hurting. I massaged it as I sat on the bed. I cough slightly and noticed blood. I groaned. What has Ink gotten himself into? I remove the covers from my bed. I gave a scratch behind my ears as they gave a twitch. I then feel this sharp pain on my arm. It's as if my arm broke. Something's definitely not right. I quickly get up as I try not to move my left arm. I open my cabinet and begin to shuffle through it. I moved my hand around looking for the tiny brush and paint. Where is it? I growled.

Then I got another pain in my chest. I coughed once again. My tail lashed aggressively behind me. I continued to shuffle. Did I use all the pai- I stopped as I felt a sphere under my hand. I pulled it out. One of Dream's ball. I remember snatching it from his belt. I placed it back. I closed the cabinet. I need to check up on In-

My ears twitched as I heard a sound similar to a washing machine. I looked back. Dream. "Dre-!"

"We need to go." He said stepping out the portal. "I don't know how much longer Ink can last." I grabbed my sweater as I walked over to him. "Though by the time we arrive I fear he'll no longer be with us."

I clench my arm. "What do you mean." Dream extends his hand. A syringe laid there. Some liquid still there.

"I believe they did something to Ink that's why he's having trouble." He places it back onto his belt. "But we should get going before anything happens." Dream said urging him. He nodded and quickly tapped on the locket he wore.

"Collide, camo." was a simple command he gave. Then glowed a bright orange as his jacket became a cloak. He walked over to Dream as he entered the portal.

I laid down on my bed. I shoved my head into my pillow. I groaned quietly, scared of what could've happened to them. If they're injured? What if he has them? "Fuck!" I yell out of frustration. Why am I so weak? I hear a few footsteps. Mom probably heard me. I sighed and grabbed my blanket. Then I hear a knock. The door slowly creaked opened. "What is it." I say looking at the wall.

"You okay?" she asked. "I heard you yell and well, just wanted to know if you're okay?" I curled up more and closed my eyes. I heard her phone ring. She sighed and clicked it. "Honey...tell me what's wrong." I stayed curled up. I felt her weight lean on my bed. I felt her stroke my hair, just like she used to do when I was younger.

"I had a nightmare about dad." I said. Trimming around the truth. She immediately stopped stroking my hair.

She removed her hand from my hair. "Sweet heart look at me." I slowly shifted myself to face her. "Let me tell you something." She took out this pin from her pocket. I looked like a tiny key made from cardboard and glued to a paperclip. She handed it over to me. I held onto it as I looked at it. "It's a homemade 'pin' your father made me." I laughed lightly. It looked horrible, in a good way. "Your father gave it to me on the day of our prom." I placed it on my sheets . "I put it in my hair that night." She said grabbing it and looking at it thoughtfully. "Your father made a locket for himself. You know matching, and well." She pulled out another pin. It was a heart, made out of cardboard and a pin too. "Your dad made this one for you, he was supposed to give it to you on your prom." She slid it over to me. I looked at her. "Most of us struggle with guilt, for something that we're not to blame for."

I got up and stayed in a sitting position. "Mom, because of me you're not happy, you're stuck with that petty boyfriend." I say digging my head into my knees.

"I'm happy because you're here with me, yeah I'm not in a good situation with him, and I acknowledge that. I know I don't have a relationship with him, at least I won't have one for a while." She pets me head. "Your father may have left us, but we still have each other." She gently grabbed my hands and held onto them. "Your father is a wonderful person, I'm glad he left me with you." She handed me another 'pin'. The locket pin. "I'm sure he would've wanted you to hold onto this." I grabbed it gently. I grabbed the heart one too.

"Thank you." I say quietly.

She hugged me. "It wasn't your fault. It never was, never will be." I embraced her hug and hugged her back.

I gasped as I reformed under some snow. The white substance leeched onto my as I crawled out from the fluffy blanket. "That stupid imbecile." I hissed quietly. As I reformed I noticed the arrow Dream shot pierced into my skull. Groaning, I used a tentacle and pulled it out. "Stupid arrows." I grumbled. The arrow disintegrated. I looked up. Snowy terrain... Feeling the cold snow under my feet. This isn't the underground. The sky had clouds roaming the blue space. This place I was taken to was rocky as well. This is probably some off course AU.

I had my hands in my pockets. Feeling the breeze pass by I gave a small growl. "Error better have finished them off." With that being said I made myself melt. Forming into a goopy puddle. I slowly slithered through the snow before I teleported back to my castle. I reformed myself by the steps of my throne. My tentacles slithered out as I yawned. "Error." I called out waiting for a response. I went up about three steps before I called out again. "Error!" I yelled this time raising my voice little. I went up the last few steps and looked at the throne. "Er-"

"YyEahHH I hEearDd yOOOOu." Said from behind. I took a seat on the stone throne. Error was stepping out of a portal. "WhaAaT DOo You waAA-"

I raised his hand, silencing him. "Did you?" was the simple command I gave.

Error took out a scarf from his pocket. It was Ink's. It was neatly folded. He tossed over. It gracefully landed on my feet. "YOuR BrOoThEer EsCaPPPPed wItHH The GiRrl. ThE aNomLLy ThOUGh..."

"It worked." I say bending down and grabbing the scarf. The fabric laced around my fingers as I gripped onto it. "Do you have the syringe?"

Error shrugged slightly. "No, LoooSt IIIIt." I let go of the scarf.

"You what!" Error shrugged again. "It has taken my years to make that, now I don't have the sample I have to make a complete new one!" Error smiled, seemingly not caring. I growled under my breath as he turned.

"YOOU mAAde It shOUld BE EAsSSy." he said with a pause. "If thAAAAts ALll YOOu wanTTed I'll bEEE LeaviNNNNNNg." I teleported in front of him.

"We aren't finished." I stare deep into his eyes. "Since you failed to retrieve my work. I'll have you do this." I teleported us to a small office. Books and papers everywhere. I walked up to the desk. I opened the drawer and pulled out a scroll. Error hesitantly opens it. It seems like he was skimming through until he reached that one part. He was blushing.

"NO! I am NOOt DoIINgG THaaaAatT!"

"Error, I wasn't asking you. I'm ordering you too." I said with a soft smile. "Besides, you aren't actually going to do that. All you need to do is cross your DNA with his, it should be easy." I say with a smirk. "And soon as you've done one you'll do the others written down." I say peering over and pointed at the paper. "See, easy." I say again mocking him.

Error groaned. "YoUUU'Re LuCKy IIII- OWE yOuouU." He said roughly rolling up the paper and stuffed it in his pocket. Error growled and started to mumble to himself. He turned around and left.

"Stupid fucking idiot." I said looking at my desk. I look over to the door. "I need to get that book." It would make everything easier. But how? "Humans are gullible, easily persuaded." I said as I tapped my finger on my chin. "Easily persuaded." I repeated. I thought about our little confrontation. The girl's struggling with herself, decisions she's made in the past. Bullied as a girl for having no magic. I hummed to myself. She's needs to take up that offer I have for her, it's the easiest way. If I'm able to persuade her into being my pawn. Then everything should fall into place.
