As the two super soldiers guide you out of the cell before Loki got up, you couldn't help but wonder about Cap. While you were in there, all you could think about was him. You open your mouth to say something. No, you can't right now. The journey back to the helicarrier takes a while

"Sir, we have her" Cap says when you return

"Good. Take her to her room" Fury commands

Steve takes you to your bedroom. You don't let him make it the door yet when you tell him

"The reason I was looking for you that day in the hallway is... I wanna know more about you"

"Alright. What is it you wanna know?" He says

"Your secret to looking so young"

Cap sighs

"After I thought I defeated Red Skull, I took down his ship into the ocean. I was too determined to get out of the ship in time so I ended up being frozen for 70 years. When some people found me, they said it was impossible for me to still be alive. I also missed a date with Peggy, the girl of my dreams..." He gets too emotional to finish

You put your hand on his arm as a sign of comfort

"Take your time"

"After getting out of the ice, everything was new to me. I then searched for anyone I cared about to be living. Peggy was one of them. I went to see her frequently. Soon.. she passed away as well..." His voice breaks

Wanting to do something, you hug him. Though never expecting that, Steve hugs you too. You two share a moment of heartfelt. That's when you start to suspect you do like Cap. After everything that's happened, is this what you want to feel?

You both pull away from the hug, slightly embarrassed

Wow. You thought to yourself

That was.. no words
