Steve's POV:
Before I can turn around to exit the helicarrier, a voice spoke. It was not static-y enough to be M.O.D.O.K (more like Modork.) I turn to look at the screen to see who it is. The person makes my blood turn cold. Red Skull, my arch nemesis
"Captain Rogers, we need to talk" He said
"I thought I finished you once and for all in the 40's... how are you alive?" I muttered, utterly confused
"If you want answers, come alone to my location. No team and especially no S.H.I.E.L.D" Then he cuts out
I sighed
"What am I gonna tell Y/N...?"
I start to make the walk to her room. Preparing myself ahead of opening her door, I took a deep breath. In and out. I pressed the bright green button on the side of the door for it to open
"Y/N, can we chat?"
She's not here. Weird. She always is. I leave her bedroom to check if she's training. Y/N isn't here either. Now I'm getting worried. Where could she be? I ask some of the Avengers if any of them had seen her
"Sorry Cap, haven't all day" Bucky says
Natasha shakes her head when I asked. The whole helicarrier was on a frantic search for her. Meanwhile, I decide to get answers from Skull. I'll find her. No matter what it takes
I arrive at the place he told me to meet him late at night. He's never been a daylight kind of fighter. Anyway, I slide open the metal door of a huge warehouse that looked it had been abandoned for decades. I waste no time speed walking towards Red Skull
"Ah, Rogers, you got my message"
"We did" I throw my shield at him, which causes Skull to be flung against the wall
I take the chance to pick him up by his collar
"Where's Y/N?!" I shout
"Oh that's what this is about? Your missing girl?"
I start to choke him
"Okay okay!"
I stop
While recovering his breath, Skull finally tells me
"She's in a cell not to far from here"
"Whose keeping her there?" I ask
"The god of mischief"
