Steve's POV:
I was in my room cleaning my shield after the gang incident. I'm minding my own business when I hear a noise coming from outside the door. I jolt my head to see if anyone's there. No one. Suspicious, I get my shield at the ready
"Don't try anything funny Loki" I warn
I keep on moving my eyes from left to right before I feel two hands touch my broad shoulders
"Boo!"
It was Y/N
"Hey. Whoa, you gave me quite the fright"
She laughs
"I did?"
I nod
"How'd you get in?" I question, confused
"Snuck in while you weren't looking"
"Oh" I reply
"Whose Loki?" She asks
"Loki is Thor's younger brother" I explain
"The god of mischief?"
"The one and only" I respond
"He's the person responsible for the 2012 New York attack with some sort of space aliens. Thor has tried countless times to try and convince Loki that this is not the path to go. He never listens"
"What do you expect from him?" Y/N makes a point
"The blue man is right" Thor says
"Loki is not someone to be easily convinced, but he is still my adoptive brother"
"Adoptive?" You ask
"He's basically not human" I finish for Thor
"That's a nice way of putting it. You mortals are so tiny" Thor chuckles
Y/N stands up, offended
"Best not to challenge him. He's pretty much immortal" I confirm, grabbing her wrist
Thor leaves the room, leaving us two alone together. I still have my hand near Y/N's. I quickly pull it back
"Sorry" I'm the first to speak
"It's fine" She says
