"Can I go Cap?" You ask
"No. It's way too dangerous. Only we can handle the job" He confirms
"C'mon, you saw how I took out that gang with ease" You remind him
"This is on a whole other level"
He puts his hand on the usual spot
"Y/N... I don't wanna have to face your death because of me"
"Fine" You say
He smiles
"Bucky is here to keep you company. Let's go Avengers" They walk out
Feeling lonely without Cap, you decide to find The Winter Soldier. He's in his room. You stand in the doorway in hopes of startling him like you did with Steve. The memory makes you giggle, which gives away your position because he looks up
"Hey kid"
"Hi"
You enter the room. Noticing he doesn't have a normal arm, you're afraid to ask, but you wanna know
"James. Why do you have a metal arm?"
Silence
"HYDRA. I lost my normal one after I fell off a train while Steve and I were assigned to take care of a mission"
"Oh, sorry I asked"
"It's quite alright. I enjoy chatting with you Y/N" Bucky said
"As do I with you" You smile
You exit Bucky's room to go to your own. You lay on your bed then stare up at the ceiling. A few hours later, Cap and the crew come back
"Sir, we have a problem" You hear him say to Fury
"Go on Rogers"
"We managed to track Ultron down in a secret bunker in the forest"
"So what's the problem?" Fury asks
"When we got in, there was a really complicated puzzle. Ultron even said something, but I don't remember what. We need Y/N"
You come up behind him. Noticing you, Steve turns around
"You did mention from the beginning that you have a photographic memory"
Feeling happy to be of use, you quickly nod
"I don't wanna have to drag you into this, but we need you"
