[GENSHIN IMPACT] Fischl x Reader - Kitten!

i was thinking earlier today, "what if i could adopt a cat with Fischl?"
so here's that.

um yeah this will be my first published oneshot, so i hope it's good!

This was not what you expected when Amber had told you something was "urgent."

Currently, you were in the rain, holding a small black and white kitten, it mewing pitifully.
It seemed to be badly hurt.

"Is... is this what was so urgent?" You turned to Amber, who was standing next to you.

"...Yeah. Okay, okay, I admit that this wasn't THAT urgent, but..." Her voice trailed off.

You sighed. "Fischl is not going to be very happy about this..."

"Probably not, haha." She laughed. "Well, I think we should get this kitten help."

"Yeah, I agree. Let's go see if Barbara can help us out."

"Alrighty~"

With that, you two had skipped away, with you still holding the kitten.

[Timeskip to after Barbara helped the kitten]

The kitten was now asleep in a box, purring softly.

"Well, I think I should head back. Fischl is probably concerned."

"Okay, take care, Y/N!" Amber waved.

It was quite lucky that your home wasn't far away, as the rain was getting heavier and heavier.
As you finally reached your doorstep, you stopped to think for a moment.
What will Fischl think of this?
What if she doesn't like it?
What if she makes me put it back out?
Shaking your head, you put your hand on the doorknob and opened the door.

"Y/N! How art thou?" Fischl asked as you entered. Oz was sitting somewhere on the countertop. "Oh! What might be in that box?"

"Well..." You scratched the back of your neck. "Remember the 'urgent' mission Amber wanted me to come on? Well-"

"Meow!"

You yelped as the kitten poked its head out of the box, looking around.

"..." Fischl kinda just stood there speechless. For a few moments, nothing was said. Nobody moved. It was... quite scary. Then, without saying a word, she walked over to this kitten, picked it up, and...

"...This... this is the most perfect being in this entire cruel world." She had said, looking at the kitten directly in its eyes. She hugged it tightly and went on about how much she loved it. You looked at Oz, slightly terrified.

"Ah, I guess I haven't told you yet. Mein Fräulein has a bit of a... how should I say this?... soft spot, for cats." He said. "She should be back to normal in about...... now." As soon as the raven had finished speaking, Fischl had sat down on the couch, holding the kitten.

"...So do you like him?" You asked her.

"I..." Suddenly, the realization of what she had just done set in, and she started blushing. "...I a-approve of this feline..."

You giggled, sitting down next to her. "So, what should we name him?"

"How about... Bestrafer der Verdammten?"

"I don't even know what that means..." You put a finger to your lip, thinking. "Oh, I know! How about... Eri?"
(A/N: if you get this reference, I love you)

"Hmhm... Eri shall do fine." She pet the kitten.

"Great! Welcome to the family, Eri." You pet the kitten's head, then moved over to kiss Fischl on the forehead. "You know... it's kind of like we have a baby now."

Fischl's face immediately turned red. "A-A baby?!"

"I was kidding! But... that reaction was priceless."

She started grumbling, but kissed you too.

"I-I wouldn't mind having a b-baby with you... if you... wanted.." She whispered to you. Now, it was your turn to blush immensely.

"M-Maybe one day... but right now, I'm happy with you, me, Oz, and Eri."

You snuggled into her shoulder, Eri moving to lay on both of your laps.

"I-I love you Y/N..."

"I love you too, my Prinzessin."

sorry, the Fischl fangirl in me came out in this chapter.

anyways yes she is a cutie and i love her so much.
