to put it in short im just lonely and really attention starved and i wish i had more people to talk to :')

your basic information is that she's a hydro catalyst user. and she is a shapeshifting tanuki. btw her hair is supposed to be like much lighter than the picture but yk that's life.
ok onto the ACTUAL CHAPTER im so sorry for the exposition.
It's late. She realized that. In fact, she felt quite guilty that she was coming home so late. But she couldn't help it, stuff happened, she got busy. You'd understand. She sighed, opening the door and stepping inside the house.
"Y/NNNN!!! I'M HOMEEEE!" Hoshi called out, shutting the door behind her. Her ear flicked. Something was off. Usually you'd come great her by the door, but that didn't happen this time. Maybe you were just asleep?
Yeah, Y/N is asleep! That makes sense. She thought to herself. But she still felt uneasy, even on nights like this, where she'd come home super late, you'd still be there to welcome her home.
Shaking her head, Hoshi made her way straight to your shared bedroom.
She put her hand on the doorknob and gently opened the door.
"Ah-?" The tanuki's eyes widened as she noticed you curled up on the bed, sobbing. She immediately rushed to your side, enveloping you in a hug.
"H-Hoshi?" You murmured shakily, looking up at her. "It's so late... where were you...?"
"I'm so sorry, darling." She hugged you tighter. "I got caught up in a commission and- wait, no no, enough about me. What happened to you?"
"It's- it's nothing. Don't worry about me."
"Stop that. Clearly it's something.. tell me, please." Hoshi hugged you tighter, to which you whined and nuzzled her neck.
"I messed up." You mumbled as she wiped away a tear from your eye. "I thought I could help... but I ended up making things worse. I always make things worse. And- and yet I still get nice things. When I don't deserve them. When I've messed up so fucking badly..."
