Jungkook was in the gym, very focused running on the treadmill. He was running at a full pace, when he got a call from one of his closest seniors from the university, his eyes furrowed when he saw the name... Kim Seokjin... He was close to a lot of seniors who had already graduated from the university, and Kim Seokjin was one of them.
'Why is he calling calling me at this hour ?' 'Wasn't he supposed to go the airport by now ?' he wondered, but picked up the call anyway. "Yes hyung, what's the matter ? I thought you left already." said Jungkook looking at the watch and slowed down his pace.
Seokjin sighed from the other line before replying, "Ah.. Yes, I was on the way to airport but the cab I hailed got some problem, so I am stuck here. I was going to book another cab, but it will take sometime to come here in my location again. Since you are in the gym and I am also nearby the gym you are in, I thought you could drop me to the airport ? I hope I didn't disturb you. Its okay if you are busy--" Seokjin was going to finish what he said but got cut off by Jungkook.
"I am not busy, and what's with you being so formal with me ? We are like a family for god's sake, and besides, I have almost completed my workout session. So, send me your location right now. I will be probably there by 10 minutes. I will come, pick you up and drop you to the airport."
Seokjin just smiled at his Jungkook's word, "Okay, fine come and pick me up brat. I will text you the location now." , to which Jungkook also smiled finally hearing the word 'brat'. he just changed his tshirt and replied "Yes, sure hyung. " with that they hung up the call.
Jungkook was driving smoothly and slowed down when he saw Seokjin, standing by the side of the road, staring at the reflection of his face, admiring his face, with his luggage on the other hand. Jungkook just shook his head and softly laughed to himself seeing Seokjin admiring his face wherever he goes. 'This hyung is always like this...' he mumbled. Seokjin was in his in own world admiring himself looking at his own reflection, when Jungkook cleared his treat and shouted, "Seokjin hyung", with that Seokjin turned around and walked towards Jungkook's car and sat at the front passenger seat and kept his luggage behind.
Jungkook smirked and said, "Hyung, you are getting old now, there is no point in looking at your face anymore, you will get disappointed." eyes still looking in-front, focused on driving and with a smug in his face.
"What do you mean by I will get disappointed? I am still young and handsome as ever. In fact, I even have a girlfriend who fell for my charms and my personality, unlike someone.. " with that Seokjin turned towards, Jungkook who frowned.
"Well, its not that people don't like me, I mean you must have seen the amount of letters I get in my locker every other day, its just me not being interested." Jungkook chuckled.
Seokjin just rolled his eyes and said, "Whatever, Talk to me when you have a girlfriend Jeon, then maybe I would believe someone fell for your personalty as well as charms. And by the way, until when are you going to be single?". Jungkook just remained silent. "I heard even your 97 liner squad are in a mission ' making a girlfriend' this time from the ones who will be joining this year ?" Seokjin questioned.
Jungkook slightly laughed shaking his head and said,"They have been always been trying to make one but, no, its always 'single ready to mingle but got no to one to mingle.' " he again added pointing at himself "and on top of that me specially, I am myself a lot busy, so a handling a girl would be a trouble." he said shaking his head and stopped the car seeing the red light.
"You are saying this because you still haven't found 'the one' yet. This 'no time' thing will end when you see the one who caught your eye being taken by someone else." Seokjin backfired, to which Jungkook would just stare at Seokjin who now turned his head and looked outside the window. Jungkook could neither accept it nor deny it. He snapped out his gaze, when he saw the light turned green. He started driving again with just soft music playing in the car with complete silence.
