Chapter 18

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes as she walked ahead of him. As much as he was trying his best to be quiet and walk behind her, he failed. She actually didn't care about him following. But her mind was flown to various thoughts, on why was he following her now.

'what is he trying to do now? isn't it enough that she was already hurt by his intentions, so why is he making her confused with his actions...'

Chaeyoung continued to walk to her dorm. Just as she was about to enter the min entrance of the door, she realized the door is fucking locked.

She grabbed her phone from her purse and checked the time.

It's 12 AM?!

No wonder the entrance door of the dorm is already locked. She remembers that the curfew ends exactly at 11 PM.

She cursed herself for her recklessness. She pinched her nose bridge and closed her eyes and let out a frustrated sigh.

'Great Chaeyoung, great...'

'Now spent the night outside the dorm..just wow...'

She tiredly sat by the chair just outside the dorm. She rubbed her arms as the cold air hit her skin. She let out a sigh. She thought of various options she had.

She is still inside the campus premises that means she can neither go outside on her own as it wasn't allowed for freshers to go outside after 11 pm on their own. They are only allowed to leave during the day or if someone who knows them can come to fetch them.

If it wasn't for the curfew, she would definitely book a hotel for the night and come back early in the morning.

She looked at her second option, calling up Lisa, but she didn't want to bother her either. She went over for weekends to have a good time with her family. she didn't want her to be back all the way and ask her to fetch all because of her carelessness.

Last option, calling Jimin. She scoffed at the thought. Jimin would run to her any minute if she told that she was outside the dorms. He would specifically be loud about how careless she is and that's the exact reason why he wants to baby her all the fucking time and whatnot. The last thing, she wants to hear is her right now is being nagged.

The chilly winter of Seoul, the cold night weren't helping her at all. She wanted to be somewhere warm as soon as possible.

'Should I really call Jimin?..'

she thought.

'of course Chaeyoung what other option do you have..'

She was about to unlock her phone when she heard Jungkook coughing from behind her. She swiftly looked back but again turned in front ignoring him.

Jungkook just frowned but he sat beside the other chair. He didn't care if she ignored him at this point. He would do anything to make her forgive him if he had something to make her upset him.

"So you are outside huh?" Jungkook asked trying not to laugh suppressing his chuckle.

Chaeyoung just rolled her eyes at him. She ignored his mocking and kept her eyes on the phone.

Jungkook just sighed and got up from the chair and kneeled in front of her chair right in front of her. He held her hand caressed it softly.

"Oh come on, Chaeyoung, don't be hard to please. At least tell me what I did wrong ?" he asked trying so hard to not to be rude and being soft as much as possible.

He knows snapping at her is the worst thing to do right now. She is already pissed at him for something he doesn't even, know she might as well never talk to him if he becomes harsh.
