Chapter 21

Jungkook caught her hand that was around his waist and turned. He looked at her frowning but his gaze turned soft at her whimpering state. Her eyes were still watery but she had calmed down a little. 

Jungkook put his index finger softly under her chin and lifted it to face her.  Her tears were still in her rims and he wiped them away. He placed one of his hands on her cheeks caressing them gently while the other was caressing her arms that were ice cold. 

"Are you fine ?" He asked softly. 

Chaeyoung shook her head as yes.

"Did I make you feel uncomfortable ?" He asked this time tugging her hair behind her ear.

Chaeyoung shook her head as no this time.

Jungkook just nodded feeling a little relief.

"Did you manage to wash out the lather? If not I can always bring in an emergency light and light it up here. I will just stay outside."

Jungkook added again to make sure she is comfortable with the situation right now.

"Ye-Yes... I-I did wash it out." Charyiung shuttered a little.

Jungkook just nodded. He hugged her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Never do that again. I almost lost my mind, Chaeyoung" he said sternly but his voice was still soft.

Chaeyoung shook her head and looked down embarrassed.

"Let's go outside, you are ice cold.  I have placed my hoodie outside, it will keep you warm, lemme go and make some ramen to warm you up, okay?"

Chaeyoung just nodded. He smiled a little and went out to the kitchen.

She exhaled loudly as soon as he left. She patted her chest a bit to get the gushy feeling out and her heart feeling like it might come out any moment. 

'he must be thinking I am weird or smth'

She walked outside and changed into the hoodie. It was just way too soft, she can smell the fabric softener that he has used and it definitely somewhat smells like him, minty but fresh.

She walked outside his room to see him making ramen with an apron. He had his sleeve rolled up and focused on cutting veggies to add them to ramen.

Chaeyoung almost screamed at the sight of looking at him this hot. She wondered if any other girl had ever seen Jungkook like this. But knowing Jungkook and his personality, she didn't think a lot of people have seen him like this too.

Chaeyoung quietly went behind him.

"Should I help you with anything?" she asked.

"No, you can just sit. It's almost done, I will call you." He chuckled nervously.

Seeing Chaeyoung in his hoodie made him weak. She looked so cute and so small. He wanted to wrap her in his arms and protect her from everything. And maybe do other things if she allows him...

Jungkook shook his head from wild thoughts getting on his head. His first plan is to clear everything that had happened at the party. And then maybe confess to her his feelings cause at this point he doesn't wanna delay anymore. He has already wasted a lot of time. As much as he wants to confess it making special, he thinks that if she says yes, he will definitely give her the best first date. Even though, he has no single idea about it. He will just try his best.

I am trying my best to get over this asap and maybe write another story too. But we will see about that!
