Chapter 14

Jungkook who had his eyes set on Chaeyoung snapped out of his thoughts when Mingyu waved his hand in front of his eyes. "Dude, You have to commence the party with your speech. Go for it. " patting his shoulders. Jungkook just nodded his head and walked to the small podium. Before he started speaking he again looked at the girl who was looking around puckering her lips looking at the food section. He slightly chuckled at how innocent and cute she looked. 

He composed himself and cleared his throat grabbing everyone's attention. "Good evening everyone, Its lovely seeing you all here today in this freshers party. We are very glad that despite the weather being kinda chilly, you all still didn't wanna miss the party and attended. I know most of you all are probably new in the country itself." he said and looked at the girl who was now listening to him with wide eyes.

"Just so you guys can get familiar with the environment, I hope this party will be a great help for you all to interact with people. There is a special surprise at the end of the party too so please make sure to stay till then." He said with a smile but with professionalism. "With that, I, Jeon Jungkook, the president of Sttudent council and the organizer of this party and as a representative of university and club's side, would like to welcome you all. I hope you all have amazing year ahead. Thank you." He gently smiled ending his speech and got off the podium. 

Everyone was clapping their hands and admiring how well he spoke and how amazing he looks. Whispers on how good he looks and how talented he is was all spread around the party. Chaeyoung was well aware of his good looks as she has seen him many times up close but his talents made her more curious of him. 

She indeed like any other girls like good looks but that isn't the most important thing for her. She loves someone who is caring, affectionate, independent and competitive. She loves someone who doesn't underestimate for being a girl but respects her. She only heard one of them saying he is talented but everyone else  was talking about his looks. 'if he is talented, why are they only talking about his looks?' she scoffed mentally thinking about it. She again glanced at Jungkook who was already looking at her. Their eyes met for few minutes both of them not looking away. 

"Are you listening to me Chae ?" Lisa asked again to Chaeyoung who was again distracted. With that she snapped out o there mini staring contest by first looking away. "Ah.. Yes.. what were you saying ?" Chaeyoung asked again. Lisa sighed shaking her head. "I just got a call from my brother saying that he will pick me up after the party since everyone misses me at home and I will spend my weekend there too. I hope you will be fine to dorm later alone." Lisa said sighing. "Its okay Lili, I will be fine don't worry. Let's have fun!!" Chaeyoung said cheerfully. "You sure ?" Lisa asked again to which Chaeyoung just nodded, "Yes Lisa."

Chaeyoung was standing alone in the corner looking at Lisa dancing with other classmates. Chaeyoung was smiling happily looking at her dancing when she suddenly she felt a strong grip on her hand pulling her outside. She was about to scream when a hand closed her mouth and dragged her out.  When she was out she was set free and she looked at the person, she glared "YOU ?" "Yes me, did you miss me ?" Jungkook asked her with a smug on his face. 'She is so cute' he said mentally. "No, I didn't. Why did you drag me here ?" Chaeyoung asked furrowing her eyebrows. 

"Ah...well don't you think you forgot something ?" Jungkook asked her sheepishly. "I did ?" Chaeyoung asked to which he just nodded in return. "You didn't thank me for the last time I saved you." Chaeyoung just rolled her eyes, "I didn't ask you to help me back then, you came on your own."  Chaeyoung retorted back pushing the strands of her hair behind her ear. 

Just as she did that her perfect collar bone and slight dip of breast was visible right in front of Jungkook's eyes. His gaze landed on her beautiful soft and fair skin. He collar bones that looked so tempting to be taken care of. He gulped at the sight and darted his sight on something else. She just looked too ethereal today. The way the simple gown itself looked so ravishing hugging her perfect curves. He cleared his throat, "But you didn't even push me away then?" he backfired smirking. Chaeyoung became silent blinking her eyes. 

"Well thanks.." Chaeyoung muttered softly. Jungkook slightly smirked but again made his face normal quickly. "Sorry, I didn't hear you ?" with that he came closer to her tilting his head. Chaeyoung rolled her her and raised her voice, "Thank you so much. " Jungkook just chuckled in return. Feeling annoyed with his behavior, she swiftly turned, was about to leave when Jungkook caught her wrist and pulled her closer her to clash her body with his body. 

Chaeyoung gasped at their proximity. Lips just an inch away from one another. Her loose strands covering her face a little. Jungkook was again lost looking at her. She looked so unreal. He admits for the nth time that he has never seen someone as beautiful as her before. He isn't someone who is quickly so whipped for someone but the girl in front of him always makes his heart do somersaults. He doesn't know but he somehow always finds him looking for her presence. Every time she is near by him, he feels contented. He tugged her loose strands behind her ear. 

Chaeyoung was also no different from him. She squealed mentally when was making a speech earlier. She was about to scream looking at him looking so handsome. He looked so great in his tuxedo and his body proportion body was something that always attracted Chaeyoung. It took her while to calm her heart earlier when he was giving the speech in all seriousness. She finally came to knew that, Jungkook indeed is a famous student and no wonder other female students were glaring at her with so much envy. Now that he is so closer, he smelled so good that it was intoxicating her. He closed the distance between their faces and got even more more closer to her lips.

I am so sorry. I know y'all waited a too long and I am sorry for ghosting y'all. I didn't intend to do that but it happened. I was really excited for RS1 so I would be just in twt and other time because of my classes.  I will do a double update by this weekend. I promise !!
