Chapter 35 : BBQ

"Eat up!!!"

Everyone started to cook, eat, and talk together as the coaches ate with their own grill.

"Oh damn, this is really tasty!" Kaneko ate more of the meat. "Eat up well, Azuki." Nekomata and the Shinzen coach laughed.

"Shimizu-senpai, thanks for getting the veggies for me." Akahana said with a warm wide smile.

"No problem, Akahana-chan." Kiyoko walked beside her and waved at her team, "It's the best thing I could do to distract myself."

"Distract from what?" Akahana asked so bluntly.

Kiyoko clicked her tongue and pointed at the two boys from Fukurodani, getting scared by three "protectors", Tanaka, Nishinoya, and Taketora.

"What are those three doing?" Keiko asked but Aiko dragged her away, "Just don't look at them."

Himura was with the first years and Fukunaga, they were just listening to Inuoka and Lev telling little stories. "And then my sister ruined all of my hard work!" Inuoka sighed and took another bite of his rice ball. "If my sister was there, she'd be cheering me up." Lev said while busy stuffing his cheeks with food. "You two really love your sisters, huh? I only have little brothers." Shibayama offered some watermelons for them.

"How about you, Sara-san, Fukunaga-san?" Inuoka asked with gleaming eyes, "Taketora-san said you guys have sisters too!"

Both second years looked at each other and Fukunaga kept a silent mouth. Himura shook her head with a serious look on her face, seemingly showing more emotion than she did with Hoshiko and Emika. "Why not? I bet she's really nice like mine." Lev convinced her to tell them, still Himura wasn't comfortable talking about it. "Come on, Himura-san!" Both first years begged and begged for her to tell them, much to her discomfort.

"Guys, you shouldn't be forcing her like that." Shibayama advised them.

She sighed and took one piece of meat from the grill. "My sister is a pain." They shivered at the scary low tone and went back to eating.

Shibayama looked around and suddenly waved at somebody, he had a gently smile too. Which Himura adored. "Shibayama-kun, this is where you guys are eating?" Akahana walked up to them. "Hewwo, Akabana-chyan!" Lev greeted her, his mouth still chewing. "Wan meat?" Akahana giggled and agreed.

"Inuoka, have you found something you were asking me and Teshiro-kun?" Shibayama asked.

Inuoka wasn't getting it beforehand but finally remembered, "Nope."

"Fukunaga-senpai, stop it!"

Himura laughed hysterically at Fukunaga, getting close to Akahana just to scare her with tongs. "You look like a giant crab with those." She commented and hid behind Himura. "Why are you laughing?!"

"Uncanny Kani."

"That's not funny!!"

"Kozume, you really like playing video games."

Kenma nodded shyly and scooting away from Chou, he wasn't warming up to her and from what he has seen of her, he wouldn't want to be super close either.

"C'mon and eat more, Tsukishima!"

Both of them flinched to see Daichi holding a plate filled with food and was eating some for himself. Chou turned to see Tsukishima and Yamaguchi behind her. "Er...this is really too much..." Even Tsukishima noticed how big the portion was.

"Here, eat some veggies too!"

Kenma shuddered at the voice.

It was the rooster.
