Chapter 7- the end (for now)

Time passed very quickly at Hogwarts, before you know it it's summer already. It defenitely had been an interesting year. 
For the patronus spell, I managed to get it within three or four classes, my brother didn't manage to get it until his 15th or something. Draco and I went to the ministry and discovered a kot of things about Sirius Black, I managed to get in contact with him by correspondance. He wasn't a bad man, he was imprisoned for helping Voldemort kill my parents, which he didn't do. Lupin, Sirius, my father and some guy named Peter Pettigrew, were friends while in school, they were called "The Marauders", they even had a map, which Harry had. I figured out the twins had given it to him the time he went to Hogsmeade, that is why I didn't understand when they said "He definitely knows where you are". It all made sense now.

I can tell you a funny anecdote that happened. So apparently Hagrid had this hippogriff, as he had been teaching "Care of Magical Creatures". Malfoy of course had a bad experience with the animal, as he provoked him and of course the hipo attached him, apparently the beast and I had something in common. Draco told his father, how not, and now the ministry was going to execute the poor thing. Harry, Ron and Hermione went to say their last goodbye when they found Draco and his lapdogs there already. Hermione got so mad at him that he punched Malfoy, best moment of the year. After that I don't know what happened to them or Hagrid, as I left for the castle. 
Not knowing how, I found Ron in the nursery with a broken leg, I asked him where Harry and Hermione where. He told me a story about a necklace and going back in time, I thought he might had hit his head as well. I went outside to find them but I couldn't see them anywhere. I started wandering through the fields, when I saw the black dog again, I couldn't believe Sirius was there, so I chased him until we reached the Whomping Willow, which, for my surprise, it had a secret place inside. We talked for a while and he explained everything. 
I went to find Harry, but he was nowhere to be seen, so I returned to the castle, hoping that he might be with Ron. There was no luck in that, as I could see Ron asleep. I went to the Great Hall,  but he wasn't there either, but Draco was. "Draco have you seen my brother?" he looked at me without answering. "Oh, by the way, you eye is purple from when Hermione punched you earlier, maybe you should cover it up" I knew he was embarrassed and as much as I wanted to see his face in that moment I left running, to find my brother. It was night already but I didn't care, I went into the forbidden forest, but I got lost. 

I had been there probably for an hour, when I heard footsteps behind me, I took out my wand. It was just Malfoy who cracked laughing when he saw me. "You should have seen your face, you where so scared" I wanted to punch him. "Draco I don't have time for your bullshit" I could see him thinking of a come back when suddenly I heard a scream, I suspected it was from Hermione. I started running towards the place where the noise was coming, Draco running after me. 
Harry was laying in the floor next to Sirius but Hermione was nowhere to be seen. There were at least a hundred dementors everywhere. Draco and I were hiding from behind a tree, when suddenly, the dementors started doing giving their kiss to Sirius, basically killing him by absorbing his soul. I knew I had to do something,  but I didn't know what, well, I did know what I could do. I didn't doubt that I could do it. I got out of the shadows and Draco let go of my hand, as he had been holding it for the whole time. Harry shouted "Expecto Patronus" but nothing was happening, he did it again and this time I did it with him, I managed to cast the spell and for a while I could see myself trying to protect me and my brother and Sirius, which were both laying down on the floor, unconscious.

After the dementors disappeared Sirius woke up and I explained everything that had happened. Sirius grabbed the hippogriff, which was hidden in the forest and him and Harry left for the castle. Draco and I did the same. That night Harry and I said goodbye to Sirius who left with the resurrected beast and Harry told me everything that had ocurred, as if I wasn't there. He even thought it was him who casted the Patronus. I decided not to tell him that I knew the whole time. I didn't tell him about the spell either, as he looked quite accomplished with himself. 

An interesting year like every other, my brother ended up being the hero, like always. I didn't talk to Draco at all, after everything that had happened, I heard he broke up with Parvati, which had no effect on me whatsoever. Harry and I went back to my uncle's house.

We didn't spend much of our time there as we went to the Weasley's shortly after. I slept with Hermione and Ginny, but I usually snuck out to go to the twin's dorm and talk with them until two in the morning, they had told me about their idea on opening a store with products for pranks and jokes, I thought it was a wonderful idea. We spent most of our summer going to London and goofing around. Ginny had developed a love for quidditch, my brother, Ron and Hermione had spent their summers doing who knows what. 

Draco didn't cross my mind once. Well, maybe sometimes he did. I think I saw him in my dreams. However, I had talked with my brother, we grew closer, but we would fall apart in school again, probably. He convinced me to forget about him, as he was an asshole, he reminded me everyday, telling me everything he had done, and he made me hate him more every day. I knew he could be different and he could be a nice guy, but I also knew he would never change. So I stopped thinking about him that much. 

At the end of the summer we went to a quidditch match, in which we met Cedric Diggory, the hottest guy I had ever seen, I didn't even know he was in Hogwarts. He was older than I was. I had a crush over him for most part of the trip, until I found out that everyone was obsessed with him, and all I could hear was Hermione and Ginny idolizing him. I was sick of hearing about him, but I still found him hot, of course.
