KATARA'S POV:

"Wait, Zuko, what's your mom look like?" Aang asked. Zuko pointed to a picture behind us. We turned to look at it and he nodded. "Yeah, she's standing right there. You guys can't see her?" he asked.

"Aang, maybe you're just tired. I mean, remember what happened before the Invasion?" Sokka asked. "No, I swear to the Spirits. Look," Aang said, getting up.

"Ursa, right?....Ok, hold my hand and move my fingers.....Just do it....."

Suddenly, his fingers were bending. "You're just moving them, Aang," Mai said bluntly. He shook his head.

"Poke my skin or something," he said. His skin suddenly made a little dent in his arm. "What the hell?" I asked. "Ursa? Are you dead?"

"Ok, good. Where are you?....What? Why not?....Oh, ok. We'll do that, after the colonies.....Of course, don't worry! Universe duties come first.....Ok. Bye!" he said. Then he turned to look at us.

"She disappeared. She's alive, don't worry. But she's spiritual. Which means she can go in and out of the Spirit world, like me, because she's a descendant of Roku. I'm assuming you two might be able to, as well," Aang said, looking at Azula and Zuko.

"So where is she?" Zuko asked. "She said she can't tell me. I don't know why. You guys really don't see her?"

We all shook our heads. He shrugged. "Can you guys please make food now? I swear, girls are so fucking slow!" Sokka screamed, flopping back on the couch. Suki elbowed him in the ribs.

"We're going!" Azula said, and I followed her to the kitchen.

"Hey. Ok, so, spill the tea now," she said while she actually heated up the oven. Wait, why am I saying oven? It's the stove, idiot.

"Uhm, the Monks never gave Aang 'The Talk."

She gaped at me. "What?"

I nodded. "It was so awkward. I could hear everything from Suki and Sokka's room, but I couldn't be in the room when he told him." Azula nodded.

"Damn, that's awkward. Is that why you were sleeping in the living room?" she asked. I nodded. "Yeah."

"Oh, gosh. That's why you're sleeping with Ty?" I nodded. "It's really awkward. And not just for us. We're usually the, as my brother would say, 'oogie' couple of the group. So when everyone sees us almost avoiding each other's touch, it gets awkward."

"Dang, girl. Those Monks messed upppp." We bursted out laughing.

"So? You have your eye on anyone?" I asked. She blushed a bit. "Ok, spill!" I barked. "His name is Hide," she said.

I dropped the knife on my finger and started bleeding. Azula quickly threw some wrap at me and I bent the blood back in, wrapping up my finger.

"Are you ok? Do you know him?" she asked. I almost threw the knife at her.

"HIDE?! GIRL, ARE YOU CRAZY?!" I asked. She stepped backwards, dropping the koala-lamb meat in her hand.

"How do you know him?" she asked. "Before the Invasion, we he hid in the Fire Nation. In plain sight. Aang went to a Fire Nation school, and met Hide there. He beat him up, Azula!" I barked.

"Wait, he went to Aang's school? Aang's only 13, Hide's 15," she said. "Girl, so are you!" I barked. "I don't know. But please, don't tell Aang," I begged. She nodded.

"Don't worry, girl. I've got you're back." I smiled and went back to cutting up salad.

Once we were done with the food, I screamed at everyone in the living room to get their asses in the dining room to eat. Azula put everything on the table, and we all sat down.

I sat down next to Aang, and it felt so weird. I either sit on his lap or glued to his side, never next to him on a different chair. The tension was in the air. Also because we never eat at a table, always camping on the floor and crap.

"So, Zula, you get a boyfriend yet?" Zuko asked. I almost choked on my soup, which I also made. Aang started to pat my back and bend the soup out of my throat and into the trash. Azula also choked on her meat and Zuko helped her.

"What's wrong?" he asked. "Sorry, the soup was hot," I quickly lied. I saw Toph smirk; she knew I was lying.

"Uhm, no, Zuzu. I never have and I probably won't anytime soon," she said. "Do you like someone?" Tylee asked. I might as well just dump my head into my bowl of soup.

"Uhm, no."

"You're lying! Hah! Azula has a cru-ush," Toph sang. Oh, shit. "Shut the fuck up," Azula said. "Fight me, bitch," she said. "No," Aang said, moving the boulder Toph made to the floor and making Toph sit back down.

"Who? I have to approve," Zuko said, teasingly. I could see how badly she wanted to hurt him. "No one," she said. "Kat, who is it?" Zuko asked.

"How would I know?" I asked. "You're a shitty liar," Toph said. Aang grabbed my hands and pecked my cheek before I could attack her.

I melted at his touch and picked up my soup. "Wait, babe," Aang said before I put the spoon in my mouth. He made a little tornado and blew it over my soup.

"Thanks," I said, smiling. "Anytime."

"Anyone else think that's awkward?" Mai asked. Everyone nodded, including Aang and I. "Sokka, you broke them," Suki said. I frowned. "I might have," Sokka replied.

"No, you didn't break us," Aang said. "He kinda did," I said. "No. Look."

He turned my face to face him and pressed his lips against mine. I melted into him and kissed him back, but broke off because I knew it was dinner.

"Ok, they're back!" Tylee exclaimed. We all giggled a little and went back to eating.

"Zula, who's the guy you're crushing on?" Mai asked. "Some guy named-"

"Chan," Tylee said. I turned to face her. Was she listening to us in the kitchen? She winked at me so subtly, I almost missed it.

"No, Ty, I'll tell them. His name is Hide," she said. I groaned and fell back in my chair.

"That son of a bitch? Really, Azula?" Toph asked. "Sugar Queen, did you know about this?" I nodded my head in misery.

We all turned to look at Aang. "Isn't he my age?" he asked. "No. I don't know why he was in the school you went to, he's 15," Azula replied.

"Oh. Well, I hate him, but if you like him that's up to you. You just might want to watch your back, he's dating On Ji."

I tensed up at the mention of On Ji. Sokka was right, Aang and her did look good together. Maybe he liked her. Maybe he likes her.

"Kat? Sweetie? Are you ok?" Aang asked, shaking my shoulders. I snapped out of my daydream and looked at Aang.

"What? Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me, babe," I said. He smiled and nodded.

"K," Azula said. Then we all went back to eating our dinner and talking.

--------------------------------------------------

Hai! I could've used Chan, but I was feeling bored and decided to use Hide.

So, what you think? Good so far? Having a good time? Idek. So, what else do I do? What should happen at their time here? I don't have anything exciting, but I'll come up with something.

Random: Whatever you had for breakfast, it looks really good.

Have an awesome lunch! (1183 words)
